Unfortunately, we had to cancel due to damage done to the RV by the previous renter. We were not told about it until they returned the unit.

After going through many other RV rental listings, we chose to rent from Justin due to his excellent reviews. He was great! He took time to walk us around and through the motorhome, explaining how-to's and answering any questions we had. Even after departure, he was was helpful and responsive when we needed his guidance on a couple of things.

Owner’s orientation was inadequate and hurried . He failed to mention: large rain leak over bedroom slide out, storage drawer missing a bottom, no control of thermostat, bungee cord replacing original door restraints, short in dash panel caused no ability to shut off radio
wind shield wipers inadequate , inoperable power cable retriever, after market water intake valve failing, passenger window inoperable, and decorative molding falling off. Failed to provide engine manual resulting misunderstanding of parking brake disengagement, no explanation of dash warning lights causing extensive engine damage.

We are sorry to hear Leon did not have a great experience! We strive to make sure every renter has the best possible experience when renting one of our RV’s. However, we do disagree with some of the items mentioned in the review. It should be noted that we personally took our RV out before Leon’s trip to address any possible issues. The only thing we noticed was the outside TV was not functioning properly, so we replaced it with a Roku TV to eliminate potential issues on his trip. Other than that, our coach was working fine.As RV owners and travel enthusiasts, we like to set our renters up for the best possible experience. With that being said, we never rush or hurry orientation, the average orientation takes an hour to an hour and a half per rental. We take as much time as needed to make sure our renters are comfortable before they leave on vacation. We know that RV’s can seem very overwhelming, but we hope that our walkthrough gives renters the confidence to get out on the road and enjoy their vacation! We also take it a step further and provide a 10-page document for each of our renters going over everything in the walkthrough. We do this so our renters have something to reference as we know it can be a lot to take in. Finally, before departure, upon signing the departure form, we do a final review of the Outdoorsy provided checklist to make sure all questions get answered.Secondly, the items listed by the renter as inoperable were made inoperable by the renter. They went into an area the two most recent hurricanes came through. They decided to stay there instead of evacuating to a safer location. The large amount of rain/wind did end up damaging the bedroom slide topper. This was not damaged before the trip. The main slide topper also had some damage and two new ones had to be ordered to replace the ones on the coach. The power cable retriever worked fine on the pickup of the RV and was returned damaged. When asked about how that happened, we were told “I did not break it, it just broke on its own.” We do have a new one on order, and the current cord still works. It is just not as convenient as having a power reel to retrieve it. All our storage drawers were not damaged, as we used them for our trip. We are not sure how they came apart as the bottoms sit in a channel and have many wood staples holding them in. This issue has also been fixed. The freshwater inlet was damaged not once, but twice by the renter. That is because he did not read our document or follow instructions about leaving the brass fitting on the inlet. My family, and all our other renters, have not experienced this issue. This would have been avoided if the procedures we provided were followed. The renter agreed that he should not have removed that fitting. Regarding the stated issue with the radio, we have never experienced this for ourselves or been given this feedback. To turn it off, simply hold the power button down. As for the windshield wipers, these were last replaced in March and we will look in to whether it is time to replace. Additionally, as a part of orientation, we notified the renter that the passenger window sticks and advised them not to use it. Before their trip, we replaced the switch and that did not solution the problem. We are actively working on mitigating this issue.Lastly, and most importantly, comes the issue of the dash warning lights. We feel that this comment is unfair and far from the truth. The renter was in an area where two hurricanes, with lots of water, came through. On their way home I was called and notified that the light had come on the dash that indicated there was water in the fuel. I went online to the owner’s manual and confirmed that the light that was lit up was indeed an indication of water in the fuel. I informed the renter that they do not need to drive the vehicle as water in any fuel system can cause major problems. I was then told by the renter that he just going to leave the RV in Florida and fly home and it was up to me to figure out how to get it home. We had to get Outdoorsy involved to encourage the renter to bring our RV back. A day later, the renter contacted me and said all is fine and the RV is running fine. We thought everything was good to go until the day our RV was supposed to be returned. We got a call from our renter stating the RV was in the shop and would not be ready. We were confused as we were told everything is fine. Turns out everything was not fine. The RV needed to have the whole fuel system flushed, and 6 new injectors as the renter drove the RV from Florida to North Carolina with water in the fuel. I brought it into Freightliner after the repairs and everything is now back to normal. It should be noted that our RV was returned 3 days late.All in all, the review is very biased as the renter had to pay for damages they caused during their trip. We hate that it happened. Also, all issues listed, unless otherwise noted above, have been remedied and our RV is good to go.

Well the trip started off pretty rough. The A/C was on it's last leg and the night and half the next day was pretty unbearable with a nine month and two other children under seven but Justin came and brought a brand new A/C and installed at the campground. Justin communicated with me the whole time from booking until I dropped it off at his house. The RV was perfect for our family and we look forward to camping again. Also, this was our first camping experience as a family and I can say Justin helped us want to do it again. Thanks again brother!

All around this was a great experience! We had a wonderful trip to the mountains. Justin was great, he went above and beyond to ensure the rental experience was seamless. The RV was well maintained, spotlessly clean and provisioned with extras you don’t get in other rental RV’s.
