About Adriana & Ken's RV rentals
Hello! My husband and I have had a camper since we rented a VW Vanagon in Alaska on our honeymoon. We absolutely fell in love and got one of our own to use on our occasional camping trip. When we are not using the camper, we love that others can use it to explore!

Adriana and Ken were awesome and so helpful. This was my first time driving a camper van, much different from my sport cars. I was surprised how easy it was and happy with how well it performed. My travel companion was Xena Warrior Princess, my 2 year old rescue cat. She curled up in her bed on the passenger seat and by the end of the trip was curled up on the couch behind me. I was grateful that I was able to rent for only 2 days as that was perfect for Xena and I. Would happily rent from Ken and Adriana again. Thank you.

We rented from Adriana & Ken for our trip out to McGee Creek, near Bishop, CA. From start to finish, Adriana was very communicative, friendly, and provided a great overview of the whole van and the functions when we first arrived to pick it up. The van is really great for what it is, don't let the age discourage you from booking. This thing has solar power, it's own water storage, a ceiling ventilation fan with AC/heater tables to eat, a CD player/radio/AUX, two beds, and a fridge! We were very pleased with the amenities. Upfront, Adriana was honest about the fridge pilot light being easily blown out by windy conditions. This happened to us frequently because our drive was quite windy, and we had two windy nights where we stayed so I had to check the fridge pilot light frequently as it did go out on us several times. The van also isn't the best at going uphill, but then again, not many heavy/recreational vehicles are. For flat or downhill terrain, this vehicle performs perfectly fine. This is a perfect compact camping van, that handles well and is perfect for any couple or small family.

It’s been an amazing experience to travel around Cali with Adriana and Ken’s van. We were 4 adults sleeping in the auto, we fitted perfectly but a little bit squeezed; the car has a perfect size to drive around, park everywhere and enjoy the net of national and state parks in USA. Lovely van and lovely people.

We rented the 2000 Phoenix Shorty for a quick weekend camping trip. We are not big campers, so have the option to rent made our stay better. Adriana & Ken were very flexible with our pick up and drop off. They made our whole experience a breeze. The Shorty was as described. Clean, comfortable and easy to drive. It worked out perfectly for our family of three. We will be return customers for sure.

Shorty was a wonderful first experience for me on this website!! I really liked the layout inside. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of space to store my stuff. I really appreciated the thermostat in the cabin because where I went (Big Bear) got down to the low 30's at night. --- A couple of things I would change are: 1) A firmer seat up front. The driver's seat is extremely cushy. After a couple of hours, my back and butt were aching. 2) A longer water hose. The water tank refill hose wasn't long enough to reach, no matter how close I got to the faucet.

We loved Shorty! It was perfect for a trip to Newport Dunes and was perfect for what we needed. The storage was amazing. We are definitely using Shorty again coming up.

The camper van worked out great. I was desert camping and the temperatures were dipping at night, but the furnace was fantastic and keep me from freezing. Fridge was very cold and everything worked great. Being a smaller vehicle, it's easy to drive and especially to park as it fits in a "normal" parking spot. Adriana and Ken were very friendly and great to communicate with. Would recommend the rig in a heartbeat.
