Amazing!! It was my #60th birthday road trip. Went to Oelwein, IA to take my daughter out for her birthday 🥳 breakfast. Went to Lexington, IL to visit a frirnd who also has Aug 60th birthday. Went to visit friend in Beaver Dam WI, lots of RV talk. Then, went to Kingston, WI to visit a family, that took me in as their daughter. Elderly. So many memories. We even parked at Walmart as a true VanLifer. I can’t say enough about this van and our experience. The owner John, wasn’t so helpful and this van is comfortable and feels like home. This was a “people” road trip vs sight seeing. We loved being the best guests, we had our own place to be. Thank you John and Tracy.

Although first timers, John provided a detailed review of the RV plus a laminated sheet with key tips to refer to which put us at ease. He is easy to contact, very responsive and a great guy to work with The RV itself has solar power if needed when off the grid but our campsites all had power. Although no AC (except when driving), the two roof vents with fans and additional mounted fan provided very good air flow and the evening temps were quite comfortable. Note that the refrigerator was updated from the photo so has a very small integrated (not separate) freezer but quite adequate refrigerator, and the toilet is a removable camping toilet so we elected to remove it in order to get max shower space, using toilets at campsites and at stops instead. Lots of storage in the RV and very well stocked. Thank you John!

We loved our six-day trip in the van! My wife, our Frenchie, and I had a blast staying at several different Harvest Hosts and two campgrounds in northern Illinois and northwest Iowa! We loved how easy it was to travel in and that it had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable! We had a lot of people stop and ask us about the vehicle - it was definitely a showstopper! Thank you for the opportunity to try out #vanlife!

Renting John's Sprinter was the best thing I've done in a long time! We wanted to give my parents the experience of van camping, and John could not have been more accommodating. He quickly answered all of our questions, before and during our trip. The van is beautifully decorated, and the mattress and linens were awesome! Great nights sleep. We took a three day trip up to Kettle Moraine Wisconsin, and the grandparents enjoyed the comforts of the Sprinter while the grandkids camped a few yards away:) Will do it again soon for sure!

Husband & Wife Review:
We rented John's RV and had a FUN & AMAZING drive from WI to CO (Garden of the Gods), AZ (Grand Canyon), back up through UT (Canyonlands, Arches, Dead Horse State Park), back into CO (Rocky Mountains), and then back home to WI. John was friendly, attentive, and very communicative before, during, and after our reservation/trip. RV orientation was educational and very thorough. We called him twice during our trip with non-urgent questions and he was able to provide prompt answers. This was our first road trip spent living in an RV for an extended period of time and we could have not asked for a better experience! The RV was easy maneuvering and handled just great, especially with the KO2 tires which were no match for the dirt/gravel areas for when we stayed overnight on BLM land. It also got us through the Colorado Scenic Drive: Trough Road which is a winding, partially paved, and hard packed dirt mountain drive. We got great gas mileage for an RV - between 14-18 mpg while covering between 300-650 miles a day. During our 9 day trip, we put on about 3800 miles. We anticipated how long we would be in the vehicle sitting and driving, and since we get aches and pains with age, we were prepared to extend our comfort any way we could to power thru our longer drives. One of us used a lumbar back support, and the other used a seat cushion for extra support. There is a faux rear view mirror, and this was a genius add-on; it allows you to toggle between the front & rear view cameras that show you if anything is around the van that might not be spotted with the side mirrors. In regards to the rattling/clanging noises in the RV. These are sounds that are manageable and typical to other campers we have been in. To help with the sounds we found it useful to put paper towels/cloths between pots/pans to make a buffer. The grate and stove parts we put in a lower cabinet when we were driving and we made sure to wrap the grate/pieces in a towel. Playing our fav tunes on Bluetooth made us forget all about any rattling going on. The inside of the RV is a mini oasis away from home and perfectly accommodates 2 adults. The bed also was pretty comfortable to our surprise as we are so use to our own bed at home as many probably could relate. This trip was everything to us. It was a special way to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We experienced lots of firsts together and created memories to last for a lifetime. We are already talking/planning out our next RV trip. Thank you to John for renting out your RV to us and being such a great host! We highly recommend!!!

Such a disappointment! I thought Mercedes stood for luxury, for comfort. This vehicle was neither comfortable for a long drive nor was it quiet. We rattled the whole way!! Yes, we could've taken it for a test drive, but a ride around the block would not have given us the true picture. We would have made the long trek home again after the first day, but we were so looking forward to a bit of adventure during the pandemic. The owner, John called my husband and told him to calm me down! Unbelievable! My vacation was ruined and the owner did not want to hear any negativity. Our trip was cut 5 days short because we just couldn't drive 1 more day in that van. Outdoorsy ONLY refunded us $200 (we have yet to receive) "for our inconvenience" and the unused insurance. Renter beware.

We picked up the van for a week long trip around the Great Lakes. John provided a thorough overview of the van’s systems. It was easy to drive, organized and clean. The bed was exceptionally comfortable to our surprise. John was very responsive from beginning to end. We will definitely be renting from John again.

The owner is a delight to work with. He is always available to answer questions before and during the trip.

This rental was the perfect introduction to van life! John was very friendly and accommodating start to finish. It was easy to drive, simple to utilize the various power sources, and most importantly experience all the fun of having the luxuries of home at your fingertips! Would most definitely rent again from John!

The Sprinter had all the comforts of home, and fit our adventurous spirit. Lost a single star as we had some vehicle issues, but John was the greatest with communications to resolve the issues without missing much time or places we wanted to be. Flexible personalities are always helpful on an adventure. Would definitely rent from John again!

John was helpful, thoughtful and clear in all of our exchanges. He made sure we were comfortable with the systems and vehicle operations. He made himself available if we had questions while on our trip - his introduction and in vehicle cheat sheet were so excellent we never had to call. Hope to rent from him again.

We had a great trip to the National Parks in Colorado and Utah with the Mercedes Sprinter van! It was spotless, completely updated and had all the amenities that you need. John was wonderful whenever we had any questions and always was available. We would definitely take another trip in it and we highly recommend this RV!!
