Rob & Helen were great hosts for our first experience in renting through Outdoorsy. Their older (1993) RV was tricked out in really great devices: solar panels, LI-Ion batteries, powering everything we brought with us, and we never had any worries about running out of electricity. This gave us independence in traveling through COVID-reduced Death Valley National Park.

Wow! We had such an awesome trip in Rob and Helen's Coachmen. We ended up doing a 10 day trip, and Rob was very flexible with us as we had to extend mid trip. When we had questions along the way, Rob was ready by phone to help! As first time RV users, the Coachmen was smooth to drive and navigate, and seemed to do very well on gas milage! We had 3 adults and two puppies, and were very comfortable in the space. Nice cooking area, easy bathroom and shower and water hook ups, and great sleep space! 10/10 would do it again!

It was a breeze working with Rob and Helen from our first question all the way through to the final check-out signature. Their RV is exactly as advertised -- It's an older RV that has been updated inside and out and we had no mechanical issues during out 1500+ mile trek from the California Coast to the Grand Canyon and surrounding areas. We especially enjoyed the solar panels. We dry camped the entire time and only had to kick on the generator once for about 15 minutes. Because it's older, there are a few little "idiosyncrasies" that Rob showed us but nothing that detracted from our ability to enjoy our trip. Their price and mileage allowance is very reasonable and appropriate for an older, but in excellent condition, vehicle. What a perfect RV roadtrip experience! We drove up from San Diego, met in Ojai, left our car in their private lot parking, and drove up the coast towards Big Sur and Santa Cruz. It's an older RV from the 90s, but it's interior is nice plus it's a Ford E350 front end, so it actually handles well for its size, feels and handles just like a 90s Ford. The owners were very helpful and available for assistance for little reminders on how to turn things on and off, etc. I would recommend this RV for your next trip.
