A few years ago, my wife and I discovered the magic of RVing when we rented our first RV—a Forest River Georgetown—for a road trip across Southern California. Navigating LA rush hour traffic in a 37-foot RV on our way to Calabasas was quite the adventure! It felt like piloting a spaceship, but we made it and were hooked on RV life. Since then, we’ve traveled from Long Island to Myrtle Beach, braved Florida’s heat, and even tackled the water slides at Carolina Pines. There’s something incredible about RV travel—setting your own pace, chasing adventure, and creating unforgettable memories. I am extremely disappointed with how the owner has acted after we returned the RV. We had to drive 2 1/2 hours to come meet him and he was late again for the drop off. We confirmed the drop off time multiple times with him and after 20 minutes we put the keys in the center console and told him where the keys were. We could not wait for him to take an hour to get out to us again. Our trip: RV generator and fridge broke down the second day which the owner attributed to heat outside. The fridge became as warm as outside which caused all our food for the week to go bad. No photos were taken of the inside when we rented the RV when we returned it cleaned in the exact same way we received it we were charged for things like: damage to sofa arm ($650) - damage was already on sofa arm and multiple cushions. $250 because we accidentally left a sleeping bag in one of the lower compartments. $200 because a fork or a plastic cup was supposedly missing. $200 because one of the white towels had ketchup on it. $250 for professional cleaning because a piece of trash was found somewhere inside, likely in a trash can. These were linens they encouraged us to use and said we could leave any used linens in the shower when we returned which we did. If we knew we were going to be charged an astronomical amount of money for a cheap Walmart towel and a cheap Walmart plastic cup (which we didn’t even use, we brought plastic cups, paper plates, and plastic forks for the trip). No audit or count of the utensils was ever completed prior to leaving. No invoice for what was paid for the missing utensil or plastic cup was ever provided. He is just making up random amounts to see what will stick. I have only said a few of the outrageous charges he is trying to stick us with. There were a LOT of other crazy charges he is trying to get that are absolutely outrageous. I will NEVER use outdoorsy much less this scam artist ever again after this experience. We spent $3200 to rent the RV for 10 days and he is trying to get an additional $3000-$4000 out of us for things we had nothing to do with. Renter be ware using this site add owner for your trip. Huge mistake on our end. Glad it worked out for the other 4 people before us but was a terrible experience for us.

Troy and Terri were excellent hosts. We rented their RV for a special honeymoon trip. Just by the photos, I was impressed by the condition and quality of their beautifully-kept RV. We had particular needs to make our trip possible, like ease of maneuverability to get in and out of the wedding venue and then safely travel from NC to NJ through busy parts I-95, plus all the amenities and creature comforts for a honeymoon-class trip.
It was our first time using Outdoorsy and I was a little intimidated about what to expect, but Troy made it super easy and was there to answer questions at every part of the process. Pick up and drop off was very easy. The instructions Troy and Terri provided were clear and easy to follow.
You can tell that this RV is well cared for. The effort and intention they put in to its upkeep and the thoughtful things they supplied to make our trip as smooth as possible like Clorox Wipes, paper towels, kitchenwear, and more, transferred into our experience. We respected the effort Troy & Terri put into the RV and treated it the best we possibly could, and it treated us well in return.
After the campground, we stopped in Atlantic City. Even after a night at a fancy casino, coming back to the RV was welcoming and very much looked forward to—that's how great it was!
Upon returning home, we used the provided grill, extended the awning, and turned on the LED lights for a cookout in the driveway with our daughter.
The experience was so awesome, my husband said "Let's get married a second time, so we can do that all again!" 😂

The RV was spotless and fully loaded with all the options you could need. I highly, highly recommend renting from him if you’re looking for a smooth and reliable experience!

Troy and Terri were the best hosts! And you won't find a better motorhome. Everything was in tip-top shape, super clean, great lay-out, all the perks and bells and whistles! This was our first camper excursion, and it felt like Troy and Terri really had our back. They were always quick to respond to our texts and calls. We're already dreaming up our next trip with the same RV!

Overall had a great experience in the rv the hosts were terrific. Explained everything about the vehicle all the do s and don’t s they were very clear on all operational procedures. We had a couple of little issues but the hosts were immediately responsive and very helpful in fixing the issues they are available 24/7 it was a great rv to use. Everything worked well and was extremely clean. Highly recommend using Troy and Terri and their vehicle. Would not use anyone else in the future when I go to rent a rv again

The RV was in excellent shape. Beautiful vehicle. Everything worked perfectly. The hosts were so helpful. This was our first RV experience and Troy and Terri walked us through everything. The trip and experience convinced us we need to do this again! And when we do, we will definitely work with them.

Troy is amazing. This rv is probably the best that we ever rented. Everything was pristine clean and working when we got it. Troy is very helpful and accommodating. He communicates proactively and worked with us on a bunch of things. We would rent this rv and work with him in a heartbeat.
