Using a passthrough really is that much easier than backing a trailer up if you are inexperienced in that area. We love both long weekend family trips to nearby campgrounds, as well as towing our trailer to Winthrop, or down to Silverwood Theme Park in Idaho. Our first trip to Silverwood was with a trailer we rented, before buying our own. There we learned the hard way to take our awning in when expecting a storm.
