We recently rented the Oso Blanco for 13 nights for a camping trip with our kids. What an experience! The compact size of the RV allowed us to travel to campgrounds with more natural settings and smaller RV pads to give our family the best outdoor experience. We were pleasantly surprised at the drivability and would compare it to driving our mini-van.The RV was fully stocked, which saved us rental time. We rented an empty camper last summer and had to rent it an extra day just to pack it. So worth it to rent it stocked! We left within two hours of picking it up. Just added our clothing and toiletries. In fact, we liked the cups so much that we bought ourselves a set when we got back.We wanted to take our kids on a homeschool camping trip in the mountains in late September, so we knew it would be a bit cold. At night, the pop-up top where the kids slept dropped significantly in temperature, so we were grateful for the RV's heater. The kids loved being up top and couldn't wait to climb up each night to read before bedtime. On one night of our camping trip, it rained, so we appreciated the ability to make dinner inside on the stove top with the dishes and cookware provided. The front driver seat and passenger seats swivel around so that four people can sit around a small table to eat inside. In the mornings while it was still cold, we used the table for breakfast and homeschooling. As a family who used to tent camp, even better was having a bathroom inside, haha. Just remember to take the toilet paper out of the bathroom before showering! One of our favorite memories from the trip was pulling up beside a remote mountain lake to fish. The larger motor homes and trailers that we have rented in the past wouldn't have been able to do this. Making lunch for the family inside the camper van while they fished below is a picture we'll never forget. (And we brought in 9 fish!)Crystal was very attentive and answered texts within minutes when we had questions on our trip. We felt confident that everything was going smoothly. It was the trip of a lifetime. Highly recommend!
