We're a family with five young boys, some of them on the autism spectrum, so the motorhome makes family vacations much more manageable. With so many places nearby to explore we're actually able to spend our time at the sights rather than stopping at every other rest stops along the way.

We rented the trailer from Chris and on our last night we were sitting outside with the canopy extended and it ripped out of the side wall unexpectedly. Upon further inspection we came to find out that it had been repaired previously and that the wood behind the frame was not capable of supporting the awning. I called chris and let him know what happened and then we spent over 3 hours trying to get the trailer so we could haul it back home, we weren’t able to use screws because the side wall was either rotted or torn out. We got it home and chris agreed that it had been repaired. Well the next day chris submitted a claim with outdoorsy saying that it was our fault and we were liable for the damages. I was floored I can’t believe someone would willingly rent you something damaged knowing it could potentially kill someone, then try to blame you and get you to fix it. I’m very disappointed

Obviously this review is pretty disappointing, but I'm happy to respond and can understand where they're coming from. I've not met the renter in person, a friend of theirs (authorized driver) picked up and dropped off and the walkthrough and inspection was with them, I've had less than three minutes of conversation with the renter. We didn't send this out knowing there was any issue. At pickup everything worked fine, as it had for the prior rentals this season (we just purchased this trailer for this season). When it went out it was fine, when it returned it wasn't. During the year we've owned this there had been no work done on the awning arms, nor any indication something was wrong. We wouldn't let it go out knowing there was a safety issue. When it returned with a broken awning arm I did indeed file a claim with insurance. Sometimes things happen, that's why we have insurance. I did not blame the renter, I was not there when it happened. In my claim I only stated and provided pictures showing that it was fine when it left but damaged when returned, no blame was placed. I can understand their frustration, not something you want to have happen on a trip. I'd be frustrated too. My frustration is 100% with OIG Claims (Outdoorsy's insurance). Insurance was purchased for this type of thing, and when a claim is submitted they are incredibly slow to work with you, and then you learn that despite assurances that the renter has purchased insurance it is only secondary to their regular coverage. OIG tells me the renter has to submit a claim to their regular insurance, and then if denied can go through the insurance they paid a relative fortune for. This is absolutely ridiculous. Clearly the insurance company is making us both jump through absurd hoops to cover something that both myself and I'm sure the renter thought were included in the reservation.

That automated message leaves some info out. The system should have left two days between bookings but it didnt work this time and allowed a booking the day after a return. We canceled within a few hours of the booking with an apology to the renter and manually blocked out the day after since the system wasnt working as it has previously

Chris was amazing to work with. Excellent communication. The RV was exactly as described. It ran perfectly up Parley’s on the way to Flaming Gorge. Our whole family loved the layout of the RV, the slide out added extra space which was great since it rained while we were there. The bed was super comfortable. We are for sure going to buy a motorhome soon. But until then I would rent from Chris again. Such a great family trip.

Chris was super friendly and very informative. He did a test drive with us and showed us where a near dump station was and made sure we were comfortable with the RV. He was really quick to respond when we had questions on our trip. It was very clean and his videos were really informative. Looking forward to booking with him again!

The RV was super clean and ready to go. Chris was Great!!! Sent us a video on the outside and the inside of the RV on how everything worked and also, had a manual in the RV to reference to later if you needed it. Put us at ease since we had never rented a motor home. We enjoyed it so much we for sure will be renting this again from Chris on our next camping adventure!!

This was our first expedition in an RV. Everything was great, from the instruction to the well maintained vehicle to the stocked equipment. This was a great experience and I recommend you try it even if you're a little nervous about driving it.

The perfect venue to explore the beautiful state of Utah. Chris went above and beyond and basically planned my whole trip. I couldn't have asked for a better experience if I tried, highly recommend!

Chris was easy to work with and very accommodating. When we picked the Winnebago up, he took the time to go over everything and explained how everything worked. We had a great trip and everything went smoothly. We loved the motor home and would happily rent it again. Highly recommended.

Chris made this whole experience easy and this little quick trip turned into one of the best ones in recent memory. The RV was easy to drive and manage. We brought 3 kids and a small dog. We had no problems with storage and space. It was a fun trip made better with the RV and with Chris's help.
