Mostly good, two issues: 1) the drivers seat is pretty high and can't be adjusted. I'm 5'9" and driving was not very comfortable, but if you are taller it would probably be fine. 2) No privacy screens/curtains for the windows in the back, made changing clothes at night a bit tricky, had to hide in the far corner to minimize sight lines from neighboring campsites.

This was our first trip in a campervan and they did a great job orienting us with the utilities and operation. Their communication was amazing and always available.

Fantastic experience overall -- an A+ and five stars. Van is extremely clean and well designed -- worked perfectly for my trip. The Van Life team is excellent to work with -- friendly, responsive, and excellent to work with in all respects. I am already thinking about another trip and will definitely rent from them again.

We had a wonderful time with this van with all the amenities you would want to have and some nice attention to details (so many plugs for instance!). We would highly recommend it over a traditional RV: easy to drive in and out of places, 4 wheel drive, pleasant for the driver and passengers.

The van was an amazing vessel that allowed us to have such a wonderful trip. It was clean, spacious, and so easy to operate. The hosts were very gracious and made our trip easy to enjoy.

I travelled with my dog from Chicago to San Antonio to see my daughter and her family for the first time in a year and a half. The 2020 Ford Transit enhanced by Van Life of Chicago is a great way to travel in the middle of a pandemic. I camped three nights down and three nights back and it has everything you need. Refrigerator, stove top, Keurig, heat at night, fan in the ceiling, electric and water service and - space. Space for luggage and space to live in. It was perfect for my (our) trip.

I travelled with my dog from Chicago to San Antonio to visit my daughter and her family. I hadn't seen them for a year and a half. The 2020 Ford Transit van enhanced by Van Life of Chicago and rented through Outdoorsy was a great way to travel in the middle of a pandemic. I camped three nights down and three nights back. It had everything I needed - refrigerator, stove top, toilet, ceiling fan, heat at night and space - space for luggage and space to live. It was a great way for us to travel.

We had an absolute blast taking this beautiful van for a quick ski trip to northern Michigan, it was perfect for our needs. The first night it was frigid cold but the webasto heater made us super comfy and cozy inside, at one point during the night we even had to lower down the heat, so yes you could take this puppy to the polar circle and still be warm and cozy. Can't wait for another round.

Rented the van for a few days to get away from the city and it was perfect. We took an air mattress and managed to create a nice sleeping space for all 4 of us. When we were at our camp site for the night we kept mostly inside due to it being winter. There was ample room for us to hang out and not feel squished.Surprisingly, the van is very easy to drive. The lights, outlets, and heat all worked well. Temperature control was tricky because of where we set up the bed. If you put a mattress in the space below the other mattress that area (due to being on the floor and the seats blocking the heat flow) will run considerably colder while the heat will directly hit the people on the top bed. We remedied this by turning the heat up, but cracking a window for the folks on the top bed and getting more blankets for the bottom mattress.Pick up and drop off was simple. The owner made sure he gave us a good run through before we left. Any questions I had during the trip I just messaged him and he replied promptly. He was also understanding of unexpected delays. It was snowing heavily for part of our trip back so we got delayed by a few hours (which I thought would lead to late fees). He graciously told us to not worry about the time we get back, but to just drive safe. Drop off was simple since you just park and leave the keys.

Van Life Chicago’s van is everything you could want in a converted van! Plenty of space, it’s comfortable and it’s very easy to drive. 10/10 would recommend!
