About Melinda's RV rentals

We have enjoyed camping for years and rented a Teardrop several years ago. After that first trip we did not go back to tent camping. We were hooked. So in 2020 with all that was going on we finally made the investment for ourselves. We love being outdoors and have great times with friends cooking and celebrating all that nature has for us. The teardrop adds a layer of convenience that is so nice. We can get packed up and ready to leave before our tent camping friends have their stuff out of their tents!! Plus it gives us extra storage room which is so helpful as we travel.

We had a great time and Melinda’s trailer rental was terrific. The vehicle had everything we needed and the added amenities helped reduce the need for bringing so much of our own gear. The trailer was clean and spacious with plenty of storage. Melinda was friendly, informative and helpful when we picked up and dropped off the trailer. Overall we had a great experience with our first Outdoorsy rental.

Such a great teardrop to rent from such wonderful people. This teardrop was just what we needed for a weekend getaway to Mammoth. Came with a stove, cooler, chairs, side tables, solar panels, a small modesty screen for changing, and all the other things that you didn’t think you’ll need but you likely will like a hammer, extension cord, propane, a level, a pan, press and a handy 7-gallon road shower. We’ll be renting this again!

Melinda made renting and departing for our trip so easy. She was easily available and provided us with extras (tables, tips) for our trip that came in handy. Highly recommend!

Our experience was super easy. We picked up the teardrop and were on our way in no time. We had absolutely no issues with the trailer and loved it so much, we are looking to buy one ourselves!

Everything was perfect and convenient. Melinda explained everything to us (which was great as first time users). It was easy to tow and use. Despite cold temps outside we stayed warm inside. It was well stocked with everything we needed for a seamless trip. Bed was super comfortable!! Had an amazing trip.

Unreal experience. Could not be happier with every step of the process. The trailer itself was so awesome. Perfect little getaway for us. Stayed nice and warm inside even when it dropped into the 30s overnight. Will be renting again soon!

We booked Teardrop for our trip to Yosemite in April. Melinda was very easy to work with for picking and dropping off the trailer. Also, she was very helpful in getting the trailer hitched to my truck. The trailer is very spacious and there was plenty of room for wife, toddler son, and myself. Also, it kept is plenty warm throughout the night, as the temperature got to about 35 degrees at night, and we all were able to sleep in a sleeping bag and a 2 layers.

Amazing trailer - features, drivability and value all top notch! Wanted something to camp more comfortably with the wife and kids. This trailer has a really nice size, and it handled the curves of Angeles Crest really nicely. The galley is simple but well stocked and makes camp cooking a breeze. Finally, this thing just looks awesome and gets tons of compliments. Fully intend to rent again, and recommend you do the same!

Very comfy and roomy teardrop that was easy to tow. Melinda and Jason are super people. They made the experience very simple and easy. Although I didn't use all the accessories, it has a stove, propane, cooler, etc. Bed was as good as at home. Add on the UPS power for your DVD player or cell phones and you're set. I will definitely rent from them again.

We had a ball. The Teardrop was better than advertised. The most comfortable camping trip we've ever had. Melinda is a wonderful, friendly and helpful, making sure you have the best time possible. I know we will be renting from her again in the future. Thank you so much, Melinda.

Such a wonderful experience camping in Melinda and Jasons teardrop - they were both incredibly helpful in setting us up (and lovely people as well), and the trailer was perfect....very comfortable for myself and my 8 year old son, and incredibly functional - a great ‘guys’ weekend for us in santa barbara.
