About Michael and Lisa's RV rentals
Hi, we are Michael and Lisa O'Dowd. We call Henderson, NV, home but come from Colorado and Chicago. We love to go camping with the family enjoying wonderful places throughout the western United States. We have six children and having an RV has helped us feel relaxed, comfortable, and safe while experiencing the great outdoors. We invite you to rent our RV and experience the same for your family.

Lisa and Sandie were both super friendly and super responsive when we had questions about the RV! They said to call anytime we needed, and we took them up on that haha. My dad and I had a really fun time together in the few days that we rented this RV. This vehicle very much reminded me of my work van, meaning it was very easy to drive, but it was extremely loud. So much road noise and things rattling, especially on rougher roads. I thought we'd be able to listen to audiobooks, and that was not really possible. We also planned a *ton* of driving for this trip and if I could do it again, I probably wouldn't have planned it that way. We did 5 nights and hit up Death Valley, Joshua Tree, and Willow Beach (highly recommend Willow Beach! Beautiful campsite, very clean, and a great view of the Colorado River where you can go kayaking). In my opinion, if you can plan a trip where you can be plugged in the whole time, that's really ideal for this camper van. Our two nights at Joshua Tree were "off the grid" and a little tougher to figure out what the dos and don'ts were for the van. For example, the outlets don't work when you're not plugged in, so you can't charge your phone. We really appreciated the large fridge size (and that it ran on solar power!), and the fact that it had two separate and private sleeping areas. Beds were super comfortable, and they provided plenty of towels. Overall we had a great time, and I appreciate these folks for being awesome hosts, renting out their clean and reliable RV!

Michael and Lisa’s RV was perfect! Very clean, ran well, no issues, and Lisa gave us all the information we needed. Communication was great and they were very helpful. We had a blast!

Minnie had a great layout inside. I liked the poison of the bed facing forward, fridge was a great size, oven was a nice plus. We could have used more cooking utensils, pot holders, a water filter, and a smart TV. Otherwise there was ample towels, blankets, stadium chairs and a folding table were great to have. Awning was great to have at the campsite. Minnie has been well used and just a little noisy when in motion. Pick up & drop off we’re so easy and great location from airport.

Our first RV trip and it couldn't have been better! Mike, Lisa and Sandie (Mike's sister that works with them) are patient, helpful, friendly and make you feel at ease with the rental and trip. They answered every question, gave us a quick but complete tutorial of the RV including a driving lesson and where at a phones call reach for anything that would come up. Minnie was perfect for us a family of 3, 2 adults and a toddler. She is in good condition and everything worked well. We did the Utah and Arizona National Park Loop. Would 100% recommend this experience.

This was the first time we rented an RV from a private owner on a platform like this. I guess the expectation of cleanliness and maintenance of a commercial RV rental shouldn’t be the same. Wish we had the chance to do a pre-rental walkthrough to ensure the accuracy of a rental and its photos. This RV has 111k miles on it and certainly drives like a rickety tin can. We were worried about it making it through Death Valley on our trip to and from Vegas to SoCal in July. The RV was bare minimum cleaned. The air filters for both ACs are disgusting, under the beds were covered in crumbs and junk from previous rentals, many mechanical hitches like the generator won’t stay on longer than a few minutes and definitely not while driving. So it’s extremely hot throughout the entire cabin for the drive and everyone had to pile up right up front next to the driver AC. Lots of little issues too like there no water pressure & list goes on. If I could have cancelled without losing money I would’ve upon arrival I would have
