About Kirk's RV rentals
Hi I'm Kirk. We started getting introduced to the sharing economy with Airbnb. Then I bought a camper to go down and work in Hurricane Harvey and debated about what to do with it when I returned home. Decided to list it on Outdoorsy and I didn't see it all summer! Now we have 2 and planning to add a few more if it keep growing! Hope we can host for you soon!

Kirk was very nice! If you are dry camping nothing works! Received the rv extremely dirty - the black and gray tanks were full food in frig- we were unable to use anything as it was completely full! AC’s dirty - frig did not work nothing!! Jacks did not work nothing! The generator used way to much fuel it probably has never been serviced as it did not work well either! I have video and photos!

Kirk McCoy was very professional, understanding and helped us on our way to our camping trip. He explained everything we needed to know very efficiently. We are first timers renting anything as long as this. Although my husband has experience driving a Police bus, this was a little different, but he did not have any issues driving something this big. We have four girls and two Goldendoodles dogs. our eldest daughter is special needs in a wheel chair. This definitely worked for us, plenty of room for her wheelchair and our things. Very clean. Thank you Mr. Kirk McCoy and family. We made some great memories.

We did not get the RV we reserved due to a reported mechanical failure that couldn’t be fixed in time. The substitute was a downgrade to what we wanted. We made due. Secondly, the owner did not show up to retrieve the unit at the agreed upon time. We had to leave the RV unattended. He said he would pick it up later. Not a smooth experience.

It’s too bad the owner does not take care of this trailer. It could be very nice. But it’s not. We picked up the rental, and were unable to completely view the camper. When we got to our first camping location it became very clear that the owner didn’t even open it after the last renters. First, we opened the door to the most horrific smell imaginable. Turns out, the last renters never emptied the black water tank. We literally hauled someone else’s feces 5.5 hours and with the water in that tank it weighed about 400 lbs, which killed our gas mileage. So not only did we have to clean someone else’s waste (and that tank was so full it was almost overflowing) we also had to haul it. Then after we had to flush out the tank, we found an inch of dirt, dirty underwear in the bedroom, broken blinds, a broken bunk in the bunk room, and the weather stripping hanging from the shower which was filled with bugs. Due to the stench from the tank sitting for who knows how long, the bathroom was pretty much rendered useless for our week long trip because the smell was so bad. We couldn’t use the AC, because without the windows open the smell made it unbearable. Stay far, far away from this rental.

It was tricky to try to get everything working. Note that only 2 of the 3 AC units seem to work at the same time, so plan ahead with cooling down the vehicle! There is an additional circuit breaker near the generator which is critical!! It is BEST to run this with true RV hookups - 30 or 50 amp. Running it off of the generator is not enough to keep everything going, and it will trip regular 110 outlets if you are hooked up to those. Not easy to work mechanically, so make sure you know how to keep everything running or you will be in for a frustrating time!!!

Was ok. Lot of things didn’t work. Not worth what is charged. Even though it’s a rental...people should still take pride in their campers. Fix the small things that would make “customer” experiences worth their money

Kirk's RV was perfect for our State Track team! We hosted 35 kids and parents inside and outside the RV and it was awesome. The RV is beautiful and easy to use and packed with amenities. I was able to cook and prepare food for our whole team out of that kitchen and under the awnings outside. The toy hauler back room and all of it's configurations was super cool. We mostly used it as two big benches for eating and hanging out, but at night we could put down beds for a couple people also.

Overall good, pickup and delivery was on time. The unit accommodate our team just fine. The second AC was nonfunctional and we could have used it.
