We had a great experience. Hosts explained everything very well, and when we had questions they were easy to reach. RV drove very well and everything worked. Would definitely rent again!

The camper fit all of our littles. The owners were very helpful with how to instructions for set up and usage of the systems on the camper. They were easy to contact with any questions we had while on our trip. The camper was clean and ready to go when we arrived. Thank you!

Abra and Dave were excellent with communication during this experience. The RV would have been a great value if it were completely operable and clean. Unfortunately it was not. The ac, water pump and fridge stopped working about an hour into our trip. We took a 2 hour detour per the owners request to get a part to fix this issue but after arriving my husband realized he would have to install this part himself in the dark and did not feel comfortable doing this. We were traveling with 5 young children and had brought microwavable meals for ease of travel but instead we had to stop for every meal and dispose of most of the food that filled the freezer and fridge. While stopped on the road trip we removed the mattress on the top bunk after finding a bug crawling on it to clean it and found two dead bugs under it. I beat the mattress with a stick and lots of dust and debri came from it. The 8 hour trip took 13 hours. We missed my mother in laws 80th birthday because of this. When we plugged up at the RV Park we expected these things to begin to work and they did not. When we woke up the next morning we plugged in again and everything worked. The second night I saw a roach crawling on the wall (this is literally my worst fear aside from death of a loved one). We were not able to find it so after trying to lay back down I woke up to one crawling on my face. We left the camp ground and unloaded all of our things from the RV to bomb it. We found a total of 9 dead roaches in the RV. I took a flight home and left my husband to drive back home with the kids without me. With all of these mishaps and me completely freaking out about this bug situation we returned the RV a day later than we had reserved it. We paid an additional fee to keep it until 8pm but returned it by 12 the next day instead. They were aware of my mix up the day before we returned it and did not charge us for that. I returned the RV much cleaner than it was when I received it and completely bug free.

I am so sorry for the electrical problem that you had on the start of your road trip. As you know We spent our entire weekend making calls trying to find a mechanic that was available to fix it in 2 different states with no luck. We had you stop and grab the part so you had it available in case we needed it. It wasn't that far from your location when we mapped it out And we did discount the trip for your time. But once you plugged in the rv, it worked and continued to work the rest of your trip even on the ride home. The reason it did not at the campground at 1st was because our rv is a 30 amp and you blew the fuse on the campground hookups using to many devices at once and once you tripped the breaker back it worked fine. I am not sure if everything that happened was the rv or if it was user error that caused your issue during your drive down there because you had no issues the rest of your trip nor did we see a problem when you returned it. Also we did go ahead and replace the transfer switch just to be safe. I also discounted your rental over $400 for food lost and your time delayed and the inconvenience. We also did not charge you for dumping the tanks improperly. You either did not dump the black tank at all or you left the tanks open the whole time which you cannot do. But regardless of all those things to me the biggest issue is you saying in the review you found roaches and my rv is not clean. To clarify they were palmetto bugs which are common in Florida, where you went. There was never any palmetto bugs in my rv until you found 1 on your 3rd day in Florida. It's our personal rv that contrary to what you said in the review we do keep very clean and as we discussed there was never any roach droppings or eggs or any evidence of roaches prior to your trip in which you had also agreed you didn't find. The master bed was even unscrewed and pulled off to access the possible broken electrical part and you found nothing to indicate any bugs. You are embellishing your story about everything including the palmetto bugs. It was on the 3rd night you saw the 1st bug and as we discussed having never seen a bug like that before it could have found a way in while you were in Florida where they are very common. As far as being clean, I had cleaned the rv from top to bottom and sanitized it before and after as always with each trip. I even vacuumed where you found so called dead bugs because our last renters went to the beach and if I wouldn't have there would have still been sand everywhere. I do have pictures before you left for your trip of my clean rv. All of our other 5 star reviews can prove that it's clean too. Even when you 1st came by to check out the rv, prior to renting it, you stated it was very clean and would work for you because you were a germaphobe and clean freak. That was why you rented from us to begin with. After examining our rv after you returned from your trip, it was definitely not as clean as when you got it. I have pics of old food found spilled in the bottom of the fridge and also how dirty it actually was once returned. Your definition of clean is definitely different then ours. On top of that you took it upon yourself to set off a bug bomb in my rv without any communication to me after seeing only 1 bug while CAMPING. That was a little excessive. I also believe your story about the so called 9 bugs is exaggerated... you just really wanted me to discount your rental further for the electrical issues and was mad that I didn't refund more money. The bug bomb added extra cleaning to make it usable by our next guest. Everything was removed and cleaned before our next renters and yet after a very detailed inspection I still did not find any evidence of any bugs of any kind. Don't you think I would find some dead bugs in my rv during my cleaning and inspection, if the rv had any bugs, since you did set a bug bomb off? If anyone wants to inspect our rv prior to renting to see for yourself, that is always an option.
