We had a BLAST renting this cab over. My husband, 2.5 year old and 8 month old had everything we needed. The dinette was large enough for my husband or I to lay down and read stories to our daughter and our son fit perfectly in the closet next to the main bed. The shower was so handy after adventuring around Eagle Lake. We went off road and the truck handled beautifully. It has a very large diesel tank that lasted us the whole week, so no need to worry about running out of fuel mid trip. We definitely hope to rent this again the next time we head to California! The two player Tetris game made for a great night time activity once the kids were asleep, too!

This was our 2nd Outdoorsy rental and we were absolutely delighted with Jeff and his rig! My hubby and I rented it for 2 weeks to road trip 7 western states (CA, AZ, NM, TX, CO, UT, NV). This truck camper is easy to drive and well setup for boon-docking which were our favorite overnight stops -- the solar panel ensured we never ran low on battery power. We explored many new places and loved that we could easily park the truck even in city parking areas (our last rental was a Class C which was more stressful navigating tight spaces). Jeff's online videos make orientation easy and he was clear and accommodating in our communications. Highly recommend!

Hubbie & I rented this camper for 3 weeks and it was AWESOME. The truck has plenty of power and the cab is pretty luxurious. The camper is spacious with a large fridge and freezer, comfy bed, and really handy charging USB ports that don’t require the generator. Everything is clearly labeled and Jeff is awesome, helpful, and trustworthy. We expected to have to buy basic supplies but the camper was really well stocked with anything we might need/want (kitchen stuff, towels, tp, tools, blankets, cleaning supplies, etc). This was our first experience with any camper and we loved it. It felt like the perfect maximum size – any bigger and we couldn’t have stayed in a lot of the campgrounds that we did. We did a loop all the way up to North Cascades NP and back down the coast!

Jeff’s rig is sweet as hell. He and his wife are super nice too. When we picked up the camper it was too late in the day, and we were too tuckered from flying, so they offered for us to stay in his backyard and even made us some soup for dinner.
The rig is pretty simple to understand and operate. If you are comfortable driving a pickup then you’re good to go. It drove great up and down the four mountain passes we traveled and it was awesome to be able to pull over and in 5 minutes be all set for the night. It slept us two and our 2 and 1 year olds just fine.
We’re already talking about our next trip out west and it couldn’t be soon enough.

Jeff, his RV and the rental experience were all top notch. Extremely thorough and thoughtful owner in all the right ways. Don’t let the fact that this is on a pickup fool you - this has all the amenities of similar size class C RVs plus the pickup cab.

Fabulous trip to northern California coast. This Cabover camper is a beast. Every time we pulled into a market or gas station men would flock the truck. Stan loved schmoozing all the men who flocked to the truck in admiration. Clean, easy to operate. Even I could start the generator and pressurize the water. Frig and freezer were nice and large, whole bag of cube ice in freezer plus our food. The 25' length was not so long that we couldn't get into the most important State Park on our list - Gold Bluffs Beach and not so long as to cause fear on The Lost Coast. Fabulous trip, can't wait for the next time. Deb P

Easy to drive, with a cozy and comfortable bed. We thought the space was perfect for 2 of us. Jeff was organized, communicative and a pleasure to work with. We would recommend both him and his RV for a great experience!

Unfortunately we had to cancel before we got the chance to hit the road with Jeff’s camper. He was very gracious and helpful as we planned and helping us with the cancelation. We will certainly seek out his rig when we get to reschedule!

first experience with a camper and, though there was a bit of a learning curve, we felt quite at home and comfortable with use after a day or two. Camper is listed as sleeps 4 but we had 3, 2 adults and a child and it was fine; one more person would have felt very crowded for us. Enjoyed the freedom it gave us to stop and camp anywhere; loved having a shower and ease of cooking that is not available when car camping. We did have one small mechanical concern with a strut that was lose and came off completely during the trip. I was unable to get ahold of the outdoorsy roadside assistance, which I had paid for. That I found very disconcerting. Eventually I was able to talk to Jeff and he reassured me.

My family and I had a great experience renting from Jeff. He was super organized and gave us very helpful instructions on how to use the vehicles. Everything worked great on our family camping trip and our family had a wonderful time. We would definitely rent from Jeff again!
