DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS OWNER! My girlfriend and I flew in from Michigan to take a trip to Yosemite. The owner (Allan) was 30 minutes late for the initial meeting. He gave us an extremely brief 10 minute overview of the RV and said he needed to go back to work. Once we began using the RV, we noticed he was missing several items he listed as "provided". He also misinformed us about generator usage (rate usage is much faster than he explained). We tried getting in contact with the owner during the trip to verify mileage. The owner never responded so we spoke with Outdoorsy. Upon the return, the owner wanted us to return the RV at 8am because he had to go to work. We paid for the RV until 1pm on the return day, but tried to accommodate his request (8am). We woke up at 4:30am to leave our campsite to be back at 8am to the owner's (Allan) home. When we arrived, the owner was not there (no call no show). After 15 minutes of waiting his wife arrives. She explains she has never used the RV and didn't know how to complete an inspection. She wanted us to inspect the RV ourselves. After I showed her everything was clean and in working order, she simply said OK, good to go. I asked for any type of paperwork to sign, but she did not have any. The only paperwork ever filled out by the owner was the initial booking (Departure). After 12 hours, we were landed at connecting flight in another state. At this point I have no heard back from the owner (Allan), so I send him to text to confirm everything is okay. Several hours later, I get a response about damages he thinks we are responsible for. He also claimed he interpreted the contract differently from outdoorsy and wanted to take a portion of our deposit for something he misinterpreted. The damage was preexisting, but the owner refused to acknowledge this. This went on for 2 months to FairClaims, a third party vendor outdoorsy uses to mitigate disputes. I ended up winning this with documentation, but the owner still refused to return the deposit money. Now I am moving forward to reporting it to the Credit Bureau, Local Court, and Police. It has now been about 2.5 months. Do not book with this owner, extremely high risk.

Alan was great and easy to work with. Motorhome is in excellent condition, very clean with plenty of space and amenities for a traveling family of 4. No problems with a 3 week tour of national parks. Fuel efficient and plenty of power to get up mountains and keep up with interstate traffic

Allan was a pleasure to work with! His RV is gorgeous inside and out! This was our familes first ever RV experience and was a weekend we’ll never forget! Looking to see when we can rent from Allan again!

We had an excellent experience with Allan and his beautiful motor coach. He was responsive and thorough and the coach was in excellent condition. It was the perfect size for my wife and our two young sons. The slide out makes for a very spacious living area. We were off the grid for a week in Mendocino and Sonoma, only filling water tanks once, other than that we were totally self sufficient. The Bluetech diesel was very efficient and very powerful. Never needed to put pedal to the floor despite numerous steep mountain roads. Plenty of interior room but compact enough to navigate city streets and most parking lots. Highly recommend.
