I could write a book on everything that went wrong with this rental. Cliff notes version.. the owner is very argumentative and started name calling when I reached out for help with the slide out. Kept directing me to videos that I had already watched that were no help. This was after I barely got any response leading up to the trip about some timeline concerns. They then told me that I was high maintenance and they should have not rented to me. She then threatened to report the RV STOLEN if I didn’t return it that day. I was traveling and already 4 hours away. I told her I will be reporting this in my review and she replied don’t threaten me , I have to review you too. I have all message threads for receipts. As far as the photos IF you do rent I strongly encourage you to walk through or ask for up to date pictures. I have rented for 5 years from a professional renter and this RV would have never passed requirements. No sink faucet, busted foot, busted divider, broke wood everywhere and table is peeled off.

I booked the RV early in the week for use on the upcoming weekend. The owner stated they preferred a pickup time between 8:00-8:30 AM on Friday so we drove to the address that was included in the booking. Upon arrival, we saw that the address was for a mattress store, so we sent a text message and received a response that the RV was located 20 miles away and that it would be ready at 10:00. We told them we were told 8AM and that we needed to hit the road as we had a deadline so we drove the 20 miles to get the RV. Upon arriving, the owner’s sister was cleaning the RV, the engine was running with the AC blowing, and the owners were not on site. The sister explained to us the door to the bathroom locks upon closing so don’t close this door or you will be locked inside the bathroom. I looked around and noticed the RV did not look like the pictures. There was no bedding or kitchenware and chunks of the formica on the table were missing. It appeared pretty beat up. I started checking the black, gray, and water gauges before taking off and noticed the gray water was full. We chatted with the owner over the phone and ended up draining the gray water into the yard, with the help of the sister. After the sister finished cleaning, all the while the RV was running as it was hot outside, I got into the driver’s seat to take off. I noted mentally that the gas guage was between ¾ and full. I wish I would have taken a photo had I known the owners were dishonest. As we drove off, drawers were falling out and there was banging. I thought maybe we could get some duct tape and secure them closed. Upon arrival at our destination, we started hooking up electricity and noticed the frig was not getting cold so we switched over to propane to hopefully get it to cool. This worked and once it was cool, we switched back to electricity. I would like to note, and you can verify by looking at messages, that we had several questions while setting up, however, we received no response back. At the end of our trip, I filled the gas tank to the same level of gas that was in the tank during our pickup of the RV. We cleaned the RV and dumped all gray and black water. We drove to the same address where we collected the RV and no one was home. There was a flower pot with another set of keys in it so I left the keys, took a photo of the RV at their house, and messaged them that we returned the RV. Again, no response.
It was not until late the next day that I heard back from the owners. They stated that we owned money for gas, propane, and tolls. They also sent a picture showing the gas tank full with the same miles the RV had at the beginning of our trip. When I got behind the wheel, the gas tank was not full and I speculate it was because her sister had been running the RV, with AC on, while she was cleaning. The owner also sent a photo of the gray water indicating it was empty, however there was no time stamp on this photo. I speculate he took this photo after we returned. The owner’s sister participated in the draining of the FULL gray water tank before out departure. This antic alone shows how dishonest these people are.
I do not feel that we should have any money deducted from our security deposit. In fact, I would like to get some of my money back due to the fact that we lost hours driving the extra 20 miles to get the RV, along with the time spent draining the gray water that was in the RV upon our arrival.
This unit should not be available for rent due to the condition of the RV, the misrepresentation of the RV, the dishonesty of the owners, AND the bathroom that locks you in (this alone is very unsafe). I have better things to do than spend time writing this review, however, I do not have the conscience to let someone else experience everything we went through. Renting an RV is suppose to be a fun adventure and this has proven to be one big headache

We had a wonderful trip. The hosts were easy to work with, and very helpful. The RV was very clean and equipped. I would highly recommend this rental RV.

We had a great trip! The RV was perfect for our family of 6. There is even room for a pack in play with space to still walk from front to back easily.
The run down of how the RV worked was great. We even learned how to dump on our own. Eva was super flexible with pick up and drop off and always quick to respond to any questions.
Thank you for great memories!
