Got to my destination and couldn’t get the camper up.I read the instruction to lift the pop-up, and come to find out those instructions only pertained to a crank that they didn’t have. Needless to say, the weekend was wasted.

Hi Terrence, yes, it was unfortunate you chose to come back early. The hour we spent together, prior to your departure, reviewing the set up and break down of the camper included a tutorial on raising and collapsing the camper using the crank we provided, I had you practice putting the roof up and down. There are two kinds of cranks which can be used, we provided one of those. In addition to the hour long set up and break down tutorial we had, I advised you (per outdoorsy's involvement to troubleshoot that day) that roadside assistance was available with your rental at no additional cost. Had you called them, they would have been able to come to your campsite and use the provided crank to raise the camper. When you returned the camper to our home, we were able to raise the camper roof immediately, using the crank we provided. The issue was: you had to turn the crank counterclockwise instead of clockwise, the system clicks when it is raising the roof. A sound we reviewed and I had you listen to during our initial meeting. Since we did not want you to be unhappy, we refunded you the unused night, the full amount, without subtracting the fees Outdoorsy takes. Again, it is unfortunate you chose to return the camper, but you were provided the tools and means for a successful camping trip.

We had great fun in Susan's ingenious camper! Everything in the camper worked well and was clean and well-maintained and comfortable. Susan was helpful and responsive and gave detailed, clear instructions. We'd definitely rent again.
