We had such a fantastic 10-day trip in this Jayco Super C RV. First, the owners were fantastic throughout the entire process. They answered all of my questions before I committed to the rental. They gave me a thorough walk-through of all systems when we picked it up. Finally, they responded immediately to my questions while on the road. Their availability and clear, helpful answers made a huge difference in our vacation.Next, the Jayco RV is a fantastic rig. Driving is very straightforward and once you drive it for a while, it inspires confidence because you know what to expect. For example, I was anxious about driving on the plains in the midwestern U.S., as crosswinds can be a challenge even in a passenger car. On our drive from Oklahoma City to Amarillo, we noticed Class A RVs struggling to stay in the lane due to gusty 40 mph winds. The Jayco tracked smooth and even in those same winds...no problems at all.We anticipated staying at RV parks with pull-through concrete pads, but it took me very little time to get comfortable backing up the rig. As a result, we were able to choose some of the back-in sites, which gave us a choice of more private locations that backed-up to rivers and trees. I was even comfortable backing into parking spots in truck stops for lunch while on the road. I quickly learned that you need to be careful, watch out for the tail of the rig when it swings wide during cornering, and go slow when things get tight, but I got comfortable with it.As for the interior, this RV is spectacular. We just had myself, my wife, and our chihuahua. There was plenty of room, especially when the slides were out. Everything works as expected, from the kitchen appliances to the TV and other household items. We had rainy conditions several evenings. We were quite comfortable spending the evening inside the rig.Setting up camp and preparing for departure are super-easy. The first stop was a little slow, just because I hadn't yet established a process and rhythm. On the second stop, I had a mental checklist. I could easily set up camp in 15 minutes and tear down the next day in 15-20 minutes. We joked that it took longer to check in to a hotel and unpack our bags...no kidding!Oh, and the bed is so comfortable! I was expecting some compromise in comfort, but this bed was as comfortable as any hotel bed I've ever slept in!I highly recommend renting this Jayco RV. The combination of a great RV with fantastic support from the owners is unbeatable. If you're thinking of RV rental, book now, because I'm already brainstorming our next trip in this RV!
