The day before we picked up the van, the owner messaged me saying the ac didn’t work. It was one of the reasons we went with this van. When we went to pick up the van, Stefano wasn’t there and his wife did not know how to set the van up and my partner had to speak to Stefano on the phone and figure out how to set up the propane and get it going because Salome did not know how. We were there for an hour and we just wanted to get our trip started. They also did not have the van filled up to full and told us it had to be filled up in order for it to run well, so it was frustrating they did not have that ready either. Once picked up, it turned off while trying to test drive in the owner’s driveway and again 10 mins away, several times in parking lots, and once downtown montreal on a very busy street. We lost control of our power steering and it was incredibly scary and unsafe. They’re both very nice, they didn’t intend this, but it just wasn’t well prepared”

suzanne is a beautiful machine. spec’d as you would expect from the era with very clean and accurate interior detailing. the hosts are fantastic. they were able to work around a short notice booking on my end and went out of their way to make it possible. they couldn’t be nicer. buckle up for a throwback voyage in this very photogenic camper van!

It was a joy to rent Suzanne from start to finish. I spent 4 days travelling and camping with my two kids (ages 5 and 7) and we had plenty of room. Suzanne is not too big to handle, but is spacious inside, and we had no issues at all. Stefano and Salome were extremely helpful, providing ongoing support and communication (that I needed as a first-time campervan/RV traveller). A beautiful van and memories to last a lifetime :)

We had a great trip to Bruce Peninsula, with ferry to Manitoulin Island and a Visite of Kilnary Nationalpark.
The Van was perfect for us.
