Hi there, welcome to meet our family RV -- The Spud! We are a family of 3 living in Boise, Idaho (myself Hanhan, my husband Eric and 1yr old son Ryan). In spring / summer, we love fishing, hiking, whitewater rafting and camping. In fall / winter, we love crabbing, clamming, skiing and ice fishing. The picture was taken during our most recent trip to the Spirit Island in Jasper National Park, Canada.

We used the van to experience Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons with our family, it was wonderful to have the van. We we able to stop and make food when we needed; we ended up camping a couple of nights with it and it turned out great. We didn’t use the bathroom/shower facilities but it was nice to have it there if we needed it. We did have a couple hiccups. Eric informed us that there was a nail in the tire that he had repaired, yet the tire pressure light stayed on the entire trip so we constantly had to check on it. The other thing that would prevent us from renting from Eric again is the extra mileage charge that was not disclosed up front. Knowing we were talking the van from Boise to Yellowstone, Eric should have disclosed to us the additional cost would be $.65 cents per mile over the daily allotment. This added almost $500 to our balance which was a surprise to us. Lastly, the interior was cleaned with a sticky residue and very dusty; we had to wipe it down prior to leaving.

Fantastic experience with fantastic hosts. The Spud was easy to use for a first time camper van user and the hosts were great to work with. Would 100 percent rent again!

We had the best time in Hanhan's campervan. We had been thinking about purchasing a Solis so we wanted to take it one for an overnight trip to test all the features out. The van was perfect for our family of four and we loved how well equipt it was for a weekend in the mountains.

From pick up to drop off, we had the best experience. Hanhan walked us through what we needed to know very thoroughly but efficiently. Communication was great with responses to every question very quickly. The van itself was a dream to drive. We’ve driven another camper van in the past and it didn’t handle nearly as well as this one. The layout was perfect. The bed comfortable for a typical van and was roomy for two of us. Gas mileage was surprisingly good! It comes full stocked and everything was thought of, from spices for cooking to cleaning supplies. The only thing we needed were towels which was easy enough. I can’t recommend renting this van enough. Thank you Hanhan for making our trip so easy and being accommodating to our last minute changes.

Our experience with the hosts was wonderful! We had a great time on our road trip. Driving The Spud is easy, and parking is also a breeze. The bed is comfortable, and The Spud is well-equipped. We are already thinking of future trips we would like to take. We would highly recommend these hosts and this vehicle.
