Ryan is the gold standard of hosts, highly responsive and Bonita is a true beauty of a van! I’m an avid surfer and when looking for a van to rent I couldn’t pass up Bonita because the surfboard straps on the side made for quick and easy transport of my 9’ and 8’ boards. He also has a key locking feature for the boards to help prevent against theft. Additionally I cruised from San Diego to Santa Cruz and my boards stayed very secure even whilst going 65-70 mph on windy roads.A couple features that came in super handy:
1) Bonita had Apple Car Play
2) Bonita’s bed folds down from a bench and is super comfortable. My wife & I slept great and there is a skylight to open if you get hot in the night.
3) The garage has a rolling out function which allows you super easy access to all your stuff. For me coming back from surfing I wanted to drop my boards, take off my wetsuit, get shampoo for my parking site shower and a cold beverage to enjoy whilst rinsing & the rolling out function was clutch!
Highly recommend!

My California trip was great and the Bonita only made it better. Ryan, Bonita’s owner, was super easy to work with and jumped through hoops to ensure my trip ran smooth. He made sure I understood how to work everything on the van from front to back. The Bonita was fun, comfortable, awesome, and took me everywhere I needed to go with ease. Thanks for the great trip!
