We are a great time and that camper worked perfect for what we needed. The only reason I didn’t rate it 5 stars was a couple of issues, none which were major problems. Firstly the battery was not hooked up or charged so the fridge wouldn’t stay running and the CO alarm was going off because of the low/no power. Secondly the sheets on the bottom bunk didn’t appear to be clean because they seemed to smell like urine. This wasn’t horrible because we just used the extra sheets and blankets provided to fix this. All said and done we had a great time with your trailer and you and your husband were very friendly and helpful so thank you!!

We do not recommend renting this camper. I was not there when my husband picked up the camper at these people's home. Upon my husband arriving, the owner guy told my husband that he cannot find the keys. So after months of us planning our trip and getting everything ready, now my husband is in the situation where he has to basically accept a camper that doesn't lock!!!!!!?? (My husband calls me and I think to myself, are you kidding!!!) So my husband told this owner guy that he actually knows a locksmith in the area, and that he will have to take it there, and try to put a new lock on it. (I mean, we're gonna be camping at a busy campground for 5 days so it has to lock!!!) A few hours later, locksmith was able to put a new lock on the camper, so my husband called the owner guy and told him he has to drive down to the locksmith to pay for this. And the owner guy did show up and he paid for it. But this was a period of hours, frustration, and we were all super-inconvenienced by this hassle. Especially my husband! And now we're getting to camp late. Well, I drove separately and joined my husband and his stepsister at camp,,, thinking that the worst was over. Not by a long shot. This camper was disgusting. Truly dirty. You wouldn't believe how gross the bed pillows were - yellowed and soiled and very, very smelly. The 2 zip-up plastic bags of blankets - oh my gosh, they were so disgusting. There's no chance we would use those blankets!!!!!!!! THEN are you ready for this - the one and ONLY ceiling air conditioning unit barely worked, and it was a 90° day! So, the 3 of us ended up getting out all of our cleaning supplies and rags and got to cleaning!!!! My husband and I both took extensive videos, showcasing the one quarter inch thick dust on each side of the air conditioning filter - my husband ended up taking this filter cover off of the ceiling, took it outside and vacuumed it all out, then fully washed and fully dried the cover. We are very grateful to my husband because then the air conditioning worked great.The rest of the trip. Thank goodness we brought our own pillows and blankets from home. And the primary bed's mattress in the camper was literally so thin, it was honestly no better than sleeping on one of those 4-inch cheap mattresses that you find on a fold-up sofabed from 40 years ago. I just wanted to cry. I'm thinking how in the heck are we gonna sleep on this mattress for 4 full nights??? Because the place was so disgusting, we never wanted to get inside of those sheets or comforter, so we never did. One of us had to drive an hour back home south to get our two 6" twin mattress toppers, so I brought those back to camp and laid those on top of our bed for the remaining three nights. Ahhhh, that was a little bit better. But can you just imagine the horror of this trip? I mean, I have to keep it real and warn people to not get into this nightmare of a camper. My husband has 8 herniated discs, and let's just say we didn't like it when it was bedtime. There were food crumbs in every single cabinet. Gross dirty smudges all over the glass and mirrors. We are grateful that the loveseat was plush, and our developmentally disabled stepsister was able to sleep well on that unopened (not as a sofabed). She was one hundred times more comfortable than we were! We cleaned and cleaned and cleaned and left it one hundred times better than it was when we received it. But that's who we are. I knew that we deserved to receive our entire $500 security deposit back, and I purposely did not make this post until I made sure we did receive it in our bank. We do not recommend renting this camper. I truly wish I had a better report. 💙

RV was clean and in good condition. Host was very professional, responsive, and helpful.
