Getting outside is our happy place! Audrey and I love spending time exploring the great outdoors with our kids. Some of our best memories (so far) have been made camping, kayaking, fishing and cooking yummy meals over an open fire…. And of course, S’mores for dessert! Audrey likes to point out that having an inviting, clean, dry space to sleep makes a BIG difference ;) We are also DIYers… And that’s why we found a nice older camper in need of some love and turned it into our “Farmhouse on Wheels” affectionately known as “Farmy”. After we finished renovations we decided we had to share “Farmy” with other families so they can make great memories too! Since then, we’ve added another rig to our lineup…. “Miss Dilly Dally” a great off grid, camper van for 2-3 people. And we hope to add more options in the future!

I was a little skeptical at first since I’d never used Outdoorsy before, but renting Ryan and Audrey’s Winnebago Travato turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve made. The van was spotless, ran beautifully and was fully stocked with everything we needed for our trip. My boyfriend and I were comfortable the whole time. The bed was great, the space was perfect for two and it drove really smoothly as we explored New England.

This setup was perfect for our camping up in NH at the NASCAR race! It was exactly what we expected, clean, came with a rug/chairs, etc. great communication. My reservation was accepted at the last minute due to someone cancelling on us. They truly went the extra mile setting us up. Thank you!

The RV had a few issues with some features not working and it not being truly off grid with the solar but the host Ryan was very honest and gracious to us so that’s fine. Our main gripe is with all the fees and charges that come from Outdoorsy. Most of all is having to pay double international transaction fees. Our Australian bank has already charged us for international transaction fees and you have also added these charges onto our bill. For this rental we had to pay you a total of $138.94 (plus what our bank charges for these extra fees!) We demand a full refund of these fees!
Overall we are very disappointed with your company and feel like we have been ripped off as the rental costs in the last two years have almost doubled.

Hi Evan, Im so sorry for the frustration you've experienced and hope that this can be worked out, but I wanted you to know that this review is intended to be specifically for Miss Dilly Dally and myself (Ryan) as host.... unfortunately, the situation with fees is not something that I can do anything about as Outdoorsy handles all of this. You will have to reach out to Outdoorsy directly to work through this.

Ryan was fantastic! A few surprises popped up during the setup, but he was right on it and fixed them:) They did a beautiful job with the renovation inside! so cozy, and it had everything you would need:) I would definitely rent from Ryan again!! He was fantastic.

Great camper van - very well maintained and has all the classic details. This era of VW Westfalia may just be the perfect travel/camp vehicle ever! Ryan was the model host and we could not have had a better rental experience.

Ryan was a great host. First he saved our trip by making his RV available on very short notice after another host canceled with just 24 hours notice. He went over everything and answered all of our questions. He always responded promptly to any communications. We would rent again from him in a heartbeat!

We had such a sweet time cruising the tree-lined NH roads in Elly Mae! She was comfy and cozy and offered everything we needed for spending a couple days slowing down and getting outside. The Prouts were so kind and helpful throughout the whole process and always responded quickly to messages. Thank you for sharing Elly Mae and for creating such a perfect space for exploring and making memories! :)

Ryan is a great host! Very thorough. He provided a full briefing when we picked it up- detailed videos on basic systems and other tips on using the camper. Return was easy. The camper was perfect for us!

We could not have had a better experience. Ryan was incredible....extremely kind, helpful, and accommodating. Communication was excellent. Everything you would want from an owner/renter interaction from start to finish. Farmy was perfect for our family of 4. Very well equipped with kitchen items, camping chairs, basics like tp, paper towels, they even had Tupperware! So many rentals are lacking in this area, but these guys understand the assignment! Would 100% rent this trailer again and you 100% should if you're thinking about it. Thanks for making our trip up the Maine coast one that we won't forget!
