I hate to leave bad reviews - we are hosts ourselves on another platform (airbnb) and know how damaging (unfair) bad reviews can be - but this is an exceptional circumstance where I need to be honest with other users. Not only did this RV have fundamental issues - the fridge wouldn't work on and off (so we needed to have coolers, etc to keep food cold), the doors - even when locked - would open on the freeway, and the toilet valve wouldn't open / close properly and the bottom handle of the toilet had to used by hand (vs. foot) to flush. The RV owner not only was never apologetic about these issues, but he claimed he "had done an inspection before and everything was working" and tried to charge us an extra $500 (!!!!) to fix these issues in his RV. Overall an extremely disappointing experience which we paid $1700 for via Outdoorsy, to get a broken RV and a very difficult owner and now arduous resolution process. I would not recommend working with Ramin if you want a fair and customer-friendly experience. I wish him well and hope he can get these things working again for his RV - it's really a pretty trailer and was very clean, but customer service is everything and I wish I'd read others' honest reviews to know what we'd be dealing with in sending our business to him.

Our trip to Plumas was absolutely fantastic! The Hike trailer we rented was the perfect size for us. Ramin, who handled the pick up, did an excellent job explaining all the functionality. Even though we were supplied with manuals, we still had some questions, but Ramin was always there to help. It was our first trailer rental, so we encountered a few minor obstacles like no power from the outlets (reset buttons, duh!). The fridge had a factory temperature setting that never got cold enough for us, although the freezer worked fine and froze stuff. We also used the microwave/convection oven to reheat our food. The shower temperature and water pressure were great too! The Hike trailer provided us with flexibility and all the on-board options and amenities we needed. I highly recommend asking about the Playstation option! The rental process was incredibly easy, especially for two outdoorsy newbies like us. If you're into the great outdoors but still want some creature comforts like electricity, a comfy bed, two showers, a toilet, a stove, an oven, a fridge, a television, power outlets, and privacy from critters, then this trailer is perfect for you.
