To start the trip there was no communication from the host. Upon arriving to pick up the RV at 11 a.m the host didn't even know that she had a rental. The RV was not ready at all. The batteries to the motorhome were completely dead. She asked us if she could have an hour to charge them and try to get it cleaned up. We gave her an hour and it still wasn't ready. There is so much damage internally and externally of the motorhome that it should not even be listed to rent. We wanted to rent this motorhome since it had a washer and dryer and ice machine but it turns out neither of those work. We ended up having to throw out some of our food from the fridge and freezer since it did not stay cold after we turned the generator off on the first night after switching it over to the inverter . It didn't stay on because the batteries were so dead from not being taken care of. There were dirty dishes in the cupboards, leftover food in the cabinet. The sheets and blankets had pet hair on them. The big slide had issues going on and coming in that the owner tried to do a quick fix. Which we had to fix again in order to bring it back. It wasn't full of diesel and the propane was empty too. They filled the water before we left. She had removed duct tape off of one of the outside storage compartments which we shortly learned needed to stay on because the hatch kept popping open while driving. The air ride didn't work. There was a missing fuel cap from the driver side tank. The Window is broken and we had to duct tape it shut. The front shades don't go up very high so it made it very hard to see out the front window while driving.
