Welcome to Van Island Adventures hosted with Outdoorsy! We are new to hosting on outdoorsy! We wanted to take our love for the outdoors and turn it into a business! We are learning as we go, constantly evolving and updating our vans and adding more to the fleet! We are still exploring the island and would love to hear from you and all your adventures! We had such a fun time traveling with this van – it felt like stepping back into the 80s or 90s in the best possible way. The host was incredibly friendly, helpful, and always easy to reach. Great experience overall – we’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a unique road trip adventure!

Absolutely perfect! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This camper van was everything we hoped for and more! From the moment we stepped inside, it was clear that a lot of care and thought went into designing this rig. It was spotless, cozy, and surprisingly spacious for its size. The bed was super comfortable, and the built-in storage made it easy to stay organized during our trip. The real game-changer? The indoor stovetop! Having the ability to cook a full meal inside—especially when the weather turned—made a huge difference. We enjoyed hot coffee in the morning and warm meals at night without ever needing to step outside. The van came stocked with all the essentials too—pots, utensils, cleaning supplies, and even a few thoughtful extras we didn’t expect. Driving it was a breeze, and the host made everything so easy with clear instructions and great communication. We felt completely self-sufficient and safe the entire time. Whether you’re a seasoned van lifer or first-timer, this van has everything you need for a comfortable and memorable getaway. Highly, highly recommend. Can’t wait to rent this one again!

This van has everything you could need. Its a very well designed, cozy space and we had the best couple days away in it. The host was very communicative and accommodating, we would definitely use this van again!

Apollo is a well loved and well taken care for Econoline, with good tires for backroad camping. It is well appointed with everything you will need for a get away. Justin is an excellent communicator. Apollo will definitely make your road trip fun, safe and enjoyable!

We had an amazing trip with Nova! Michelle was incredible to deal with and was so accommodating. 10/10 would recommend Nova for any couple/group looking to be transported back into the 80’s! Nova was stacked with everything we could ask for and more. They thought of everything!

Luna (the tricked out van) was perfect for what I needed it for...a place to bunk down after vigorous outdoor work. I never cooked in it so can't comment on that but the vehicle was reliable and warm and comfy to sleep in. I'd rent it afain

The van was great and Michelle & Justin were an absolute pleasure to deal with (so great we ended up extending our booking!) We had absolutely no mechanical issues throughout our roadtrip and we travelled quite a long way without ever hearing a funny sound or worrying about battery life! The only two cons to this van to keep in mind when booking were that there were no privacy curtains for the back or side windows so at night when we had the lights on you could fully see inside of the van - we purchased black towels the second night to hang inside for discrete camping and used these the rest of the trip. The second to keep in mind is the lack of storage as there are no cupboards above the counter or drawers under the bed to store clothes. All in all though these things were minor and easy to navigate. The van was great, Michelle and Justin were lovely and they did a great job making a little home on wheels and we were able to navigate those little things along the way to make for the perfect trip!

We thought with the tinted windows, no additional privacy curtains were required and the storage container above the van would suffice for the lack of storage inside the van however, we will definitely take your feedback and put your suggestions to work!
