We took Tommy’s sprinter van near Aspen and to Steamboat. It was a great vehicle that was easy to drive and spacious. It handled really well in the mountains. The bed was comfortable too. Starlink was an added bonus, and came in handy being able to make calls where there wasn’t reception after a rock shattered the side window while driving up one of the canyons. Outdoorsy was very responsive with roadside assistance. I felt bad having to return the van with a broken window but Tommy was on it and had a replacement and repair already lined up. Even as he waited on my insurance to cover the cost. I only wish the listing was updated to reflect the items not included though as there was quite a bit not in the vehicle as stated in the listing: like window covers, a pan, coffee maker, utensils, etc (maybe it was previously) which is fine but just made us scramble a bit at the last minute to pack our own. We didn’t expect a sprinter van to be spotless either, but we had to clean the windshield and some of the surfaces inside before hitting the road. The van had great battery storage though and heat and A/C and plenty of room.

What an incredible adventure I was able to take with Tommy the van. It had everything I needed, including off-road capability, which allowed me to find Boondocking spots off the beaten path. Can’t wait to rent again for another adventure!

A clean build-out on top of a powerful new vehicle makes for confident driving on-highway and off-road alike. We particularly enjoyed the battery system (heater!) and solar panel charging when we were camping off-grid at Indian Creek and Zion. Thomas is very welcoming and nice to deal with. Overall, a great vehicle, a great host and a great experience!

We had an amazing time exploring Moab with the pups in this van! We were able to comfortably enjoy so many sites and will definitely be renting with Tommy again :)

Tommy was a great host - really good communication and friendly! We loved staying in the van - the bed was very comfortable and the heater worked a treat for our Steamboat ski trip. Enjoyed our trip a lot!

By far the nicest sprinter van I’ve ever stepped foot in. Plenty of room throughout the cabin. Nice big comfy bed, can easily sleep 2 people. Lots of storage for gear, food or anything else you have with you. Most nights I spent in the van outside temp was -5f, the heater works wonders, I was not cold a single time while sleeping. The van also drives smooth as butter, it felt like I was driving a Rolls Royce. Overall there are just not enough great things I can say about this van. If you are considering renting it, it’s a no brainer. Do it. You will not regret it

For the 2nd time in as many months I have rented Tommy’s van.
It is a beast in the snow and very warm and comfortable in the cold temps of Winter Park.
I will definitely be using Tommy and his vans again.
His communication and flexibility is excellent.
Thanks for another memorable weekend getaway.

From the beginning of the booking Tommy was very cooperative and interested in making sure our trip was great. Very quick with all communication and even allowed us to switch vans to ensure maximum time on our trip.
Pick up and drop off was a breeze. The van was a beast and very easy to drive. It was very comfortable and easy to cook, eat meals in. The high clearance, AWD, and great tires handled the snow in Winter Park and Berthoud Pass with ease. The heater had no trouble keeping us warm in the teen temps over night. A very wonderful trip and I will definitely be renting from Tommy again.

We had an awesome experience with Tommy’s Sprinter. We took it to Monarch for skiing for 4 days and had a great time. The bed is comfortable and the heater kept the van warm despite below zero temps. Would def rent from him again!
