Hi, we are a family of three. We love to do weekend trips as well as long trips. We have two dogs and one kitty who loves to come with us. Some our favorite destinations was Knoebels in PA and Myrtle Beach SC

Beware!! At first Amanda was great. She went over the camper with me the night before our rental started (this was our first rental experience), and she let me take it that night so we could get an earlier start on our trip. She even offered us her bike rack, camp chairs, and anything else we might need. Then, about 18 miles into our trip, we had two tires blowout due to dry rot (hey, it happens). I reached out to her with no immediate response (again, it happens). When she did respond she said that she had everything checked out before our rental, and inferred that the tires blew out because I was driving too fast (how fast can a camper really go?!?!). While waiting by the side of the road I contacted Outdoorsy. Outdoorsy advised that in situations such as this the owner would repay any costs I incurred for new tires; it cost $627 for new tires (more than the total cost of the rental). During our trip we came across other evidence that not "everything was checked out" by her before our trip. When I returned the camper her son checked and confirmed that the camper was returned in the same condition that we got it (besides the two new tires). I asked him to have Amanda contact me about the tires and another issue (i.e., we went over the allotted mileage and would owe her money because of it). Since then (I returned the camper four days ago) I have heard nothing from her. I have sent her at least two messages with no response. I spoke to Outdoorsy and they advised that they have reached out to her on two occasions, with no response. They also advised that she signed into her account early this morning, and still no response (she travels for work and I did not want to take any action if she was not able to respond to the inquires made by both me and Outdoorsy). I have still heard nothing from her. Beware!!
