Overall, there was a lack of communication. Paid for the drop off and pick up of the camper in full and had to return it ourselves, which was fine as it wasn't that big of an issue. I did find the camper to be unclean and tried to address it with the hosts, but they denied it and said it was clean. I have pictures showing the before and after we went and purchased cleaning supplies, as this was our place to stay for the weekend. I will also tell you that if this were a hotel, I would have asked for a refund or, at the very least, a different room.Floors covered in dirt and sand, which we washed as well and the towels were very dirty from it
The fridge is dirty on the inside and out from spills and then greasy hands
Same with the Microwave
The worst part is that we didn't realize that there wasn't any bedding or blankets included or it wasn't communicated to us. The main bed had them, but the sheets are dirty and there is other stuff on them, which shows it wasn't cleaned.
The shower is dirty too,
The main sink had food on the sides etc.
The bunk beds are both covered in sand, and the vacuum didn't seem to work on getting it off.I am a very respectful person and tend to do the right things and make things right; however, this was met with being accused of things that weren't intended, but just to make things right. This is honest feedback and was a disappointing experience due to lies that were shared on cleaning and or denying that it was left dirty. I have rented from Outdoorsy many times as well as Airbnb and have 5-star reviews. Renter beware on this one. Did it work, yes however, be sure to come with extra supplies and make sure to over-communicate with the host.
