Our experience renting this RV for Burning Man was unfortunately disappointing. I was transparent with Wayne about our plans, and before departure, he offered a $500 cleaning fee to return the RV as-is. We took extensive precautions to protect the RV from the playa, covering floors, windows, vents, and more. After returning home, we paid a professional cleaning team to detail the interior.

Thank you for your review. Several statements differ from our documented records. The $500 Burning Man fee covered extraordinary playa-dust cleaning; it did not waive separate damage or contamination. After return, photographs documented gasoline/petroleum contamination in an exterior compartment, damaged interior components, and a torn slide-out topper. Marijuana products were also photographed inside the RV. When those photos were sent to Ilya through Outdoorsy, he replied, "You can trash it out! Or smoke! It's a brand I own." Smoke-odor remediation was therefore separate from playa cleaning. Regarding the generator, we attempted troubleshooting during the rental; MAK-TAC did not charge or collect the approximately $1,500 technician amount referenced. We retained the photos, Outdoorsy messages, inspection records, and itemized report supporting the post-rental charges.

This was our family’s first time driving and traveling in an RV, and we had an amazing experience. The host was incredibly patient and spent nearly two hours walking us through every feature of the RV and even teaching me how to drive such a large vehicle. That made us feel confident and safe before our trip.

Thanks, Wayne! We had an outstanding experience renting your RV. From the very first message, your communication was excellent — super responsive, friendly, and helpful with all the details we needed before and during the trip.
The RV itself was spotless and impeccably clean when we picked it up. Everything worked perfectly on the mechanical side — no issues at all with the engine, appliances, plumbing, or any systems. It handled our whole trip smoothly and reliably.
The listing was 100% accurate — the photos and description matched exactly what we got, with no surprises. For the price, it was an incredible value and made our getaway so much more enjoyable and stress-free.
Highly recommend Wayne and this RV to anyone looking for a great rental. We’ll definitely be back next time we need one! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Wayne was such a great host and I cannot even express how great the trip was and it’s because of him. We took a trip to the Grand Canyon, the RV ran great, generator was perfect and Wayne was ready to help us every step of the way as far as calling him for help with equipment, services. The RV has so many cool parts to it that we found along the way, and it handled the weather, distance and terrain all with ease and made it a smooth drive for me and the whole roster on board. Thank you so much Wayne for your hospitality and insights! We definitely plan to rent again!!!
