Über Keira Flanagan @LowTide.Vans

Hi there, My name is Keira and I'm the owner and operator of Low Tide Vans. I've been fortunate enough to spend my whole life on Vancouver Island, enjoying all of the outdoor activities that this beautiful place has to offer since a young age. Surfing, skiing, cycling, hiking and more! I originally built out a campervan for personal use, but quickly decided I wanted to share with others so they too could experience van life on Vancouver Island. As a mechanical engineer and the builder of my vans, I know them inside and out, and take great pride in every detail of the build. I'm more than happy to answer any questions you may have, and would love to provide trip recommendations! I look forward to hearing from you, Keira For how-to videos, go to my YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@LowtideVans/playlists For more content, find me on Instagram: @ Low Tide. Vans

We had such a great 5 day trip in the Big Black Van! Keira has done an excellent job kitting it out. The bed was hands down the most comfortable we slept in on our 3 week Canadian trip, big ups for investing in a great mattress and linen, it really makes a difference.

Keira saved our trip: notified the day before, she managed to get the RV ready for our departure, after our previous host cancelled our booking with only 36 hours' notice. The "Juan de Fuca" proved to be comfortable and cozy and well-equipped with bedding, dishes, and cooking gear; it was also very easy to drive. Unfortunately, the electric cooler's power cord didn't work in the cigarette lighter socket, Keira tried to fix it before our departure but, considering the short notice we gave her, she couldn't. She reimbursed us for the purchase of a cooler to use when we stayed at campsites without electricity. We really enjoyed traveling with this van.

What a great Experience for our trip as a whole. Keira was nice and easy to chat and deal with great person and the walk through was easy, with a you tube video to help once very thorough.
This Van just made everything work perfect, pull over and catch first come first serve camping spots and regular camping grounds as well. Easy to pull in park and set everything up comfy bed and when it rained the last 3 days it was just nice to have the stove and fully set up kitchen with all the basics needed to get through our week ish trip.

Our host, Keira, was such a pleasure to work with. In the weeks before our arrival, she fielded many random questions promptly, and gave us recommendations regarding campgrounds and places to see. The pick-up went seamlessly, with a short but efficient walk through. The van was in excellent condition, and the layout was easy to get used to. Some of our camping locations were a bit cool, but the interior heater took the chill off very quickly. During the trip, we were responsible for damaging the cooktop, and Keira was very forgiving, telling us not to worry. Upon our return, she had already ordered and received the replacement, and trusted us to reimburse her upon the installation, which she accomplished in short order. At our drop-off, she even gave us a lift to our nearby accommodation before our departure the next day. All-in-all, our experience with Keira and her beautiful RV was exceptional.

we had this van for a full week travelling all over the island,, and it was exactly what we were hoping for! the van never let us down, and we pushed it pretty hard. the bed is super comfy, the solar panels covered all our power needs quite easily, and the no-setup on arrival to a campsite was a huge plus. we would happily consider renting the van again, and would recommend it to anyone!

We travelled for a week in Keira's Sprinter van and had an excellent time! The van has tons of room, a most comfortable mattress, a great kitchen area, and is pretty easy to navigate. Would highly recomment to others loving van life!

We took a short trip from Victoria to Gabriola Island with the ‘Juan de Fuca’ Wondervan, and had such a cozy trip! The details like the wood panelling, large bed, string lights, and heater made it hard to get out of bed in the morning. We were so appreciative of the amount of kitchen supplies, fridge, and propane stove to whip up some delicious meals.

Everything was perfect with The Big Black Campervan. Thanks Keira!!!It ran great the entire time and was great on gas. We loved the simple and clean layout with tons of counter space!!! and lots of storage, lots of hooks to hang stuff on, great lighting and everything worked very well. A huge and very comfy bed was a bit of a luxury compared to our little Westy.
It was a chilly weekend so we ended up using the heater a fair amount and noticed its quite efficient with only using a very small amount of diesel fuel.

My experience with the campervan was wonderful, but the review is for the host. Keira went out of her way to make our trip the best it could be. I really think our experience would have been much different if it weren't for Keira's communication, flexibility, and kindness. Thank you and we can't wait to get back to Vancouver Island.
