About Jon's RV rentals

Hello, Friends: I'm 71 years old, and retired from the Human Services profession. My wife is a retired RN. We live in the country just south of Plymouth, Wisconsin at the end of an 1150 driveway. Lots of room to safely park a your car here. We love to travel and see the world. We've hosted 13 high school foreign exchange students. We have five children (all married) and nine grandchildren - the twins are on my lap in the photo, although they're now six years old. Family and friends are the most important treasures of life, and we take every opportunity to have them near us. We have thee dogs - a female golden, her daughter and a nutty chocolate lab mix. We bred our golden retriever earlier this year and it was a blast having 12 puppies around here (but I wouldn't make a habit of it). That's me. Hope to meet you soon.

This was our first ever RV trip and first time ever using Outdoorsy, our experiance with owner Jon was amazing, he has prepared his RV so if you forgot something he had it in there, amazing. Well maintained unit and well serviced. Jon explained everything so anyone could understand what you needed to know. Jon even contacted me days before my trip to tell that the renter before my trip had damaged the RV but it did not affect the operation, very considerate of Jon. He also gave us a sample of the home made maple syrup that him and his wife make, just amazing. I plan to use this motor home again very easy to drive as well. Thanks Jon

Our family of 5 (kids age 8,9,11) and dog just returned yesterday. We rented the RV for an extended east coast tour of 10 states - including some really busy cities like NYC and Washington DC. It handled really well and made for a comfortable ride and temporary home.

Jon was great to work with. He even started the refrigerator / freezer before we arrived. Gave us a good tour of the RV.
Mechanically the unit was great. Drove like a dream. I would not hesitate to take it on a long trip. It is long, but we got used to it pretty quick. Just have to remember that there is a lot of RV behind the back wheels.
All the internal features that we used worked perfectly. We did not use the shower or the heater. The AC worked great.
I found the Queen size bed to be on the soft side, but my wife had no problem with it. I like a very firm mattress, so I slept above the cab.
Overall we recommend this RV. It has some rough edges, but it is 10 years old. A great deal for the price.

We had a great experience renting from Jon. This was our first time ever renting an RV and he did a terrific job explaining the details of how everything worked and how to use it. The RV worked out great and I honestly can't think of anything else we would have liked to have gone differently. Would definitely recommend renting from Jon!

Jon was great to deal with. He was very accommodating about drop off and pick up and went over every aspect of the contract and the camper. The camper was clean and well maintained. Just what we were looking for.

Our entire 2-week trip to Colorado was wonderful! This was our first
experience traveling and camping in a motorhome - it was perfect for 4
adults and 2 kids. This RV had lots of power going up mountain roads, and
excellent engine/drive train control going down steep grades to minimize
braking, making the trip a very safe and enjoyable driving experience. The
RV was well equipped, had no maintenance issues, and provided all the space
and convenience we needed. As an RV owner, Jon provided many helpful
suggestions, answered all our questions, and Jon is just a great person who
made the overall rental process very enjoyable!

We had checked with previous reviews, which led us to go with renting the RV from Jon. All those reviews were accurate. This was our first time using an RV and Jon was extremely helpful by providing great instruction and information. Throughout the initial process, very responsive to our questions and during our trip we had a question which we were unable to resolve; texted Jon and he was able to help us! A great experience overall.

Jon was very pleasant and informative about his 2012 Coachmen RV. It had everything you would need inside and more. Being an older RV, it was very clean inside. I was not disappointed.

Jon was very thorough with the pre-trip training which was good since this was my first RV experience. The RV is well stocked and maintained with nearly everything you need. I was a little nervous about driving such a large vehicle but it was pretty easy once you get going.
