Honest Camper lets your rent retro Volkswagen or modern Mercedes Benz campers to explore the open road of Canada's West Coast (we have vans in San Fancisco during the winter as well). Maybe you’re not quite feeling the financial spend that comes with the hotel plus rental car. Or maybe the days of waking up sore, tired, and in a tent, are not your cup of red bull anymore. Why not try existing in under 90 sq ft of clean, comfort filled, minimal living for a change? Vancouver is the absolute perfect hub for you to start your adventure from too. Honest Camper is just as their name makes them sound - homespun, relatable, competent and adventurous. Their van conversions are brilliant yet semi-minimal and easy to work with. Our experience was just the best and our Sprinter performed flawlessly and provided a vacation we will never forget.

Exceeded expectations!!! We had such a fun trip with this RV rental!!! Host was super helpful and responsive. We didn't realize how much we needed the heaters (electric & propane) that the host thoughtfully provided as our trip is at the end of November.

We are a family with 3 teenagers and we took a two-week trip from Vancouver to Calgary. We had an amazing experience thanks to our van, which was fully equipped. We just brought an extra tent so that 5 of us could sleep. We found it very convenient to travel with a van rather than a heavy camper. Check-in and drop-off were easy and the Honest Team is helpful and friendly.

Great trip! Easy pick up and drop off - very convenient. Good communication with William - through out the trip - responsive.
Specious campervan. For my personal preference I would like some shelves above the bed but that’s just me because we do have tons of stuff (especially with 2 kids 🙈😂).
Tent on the roof was easy to put up and down and fun for the kids.
Second row seats easy to fold down too which was convenient when cooking.
Well equipped kitchen with all you need.
Blinds for the windows - I only covered some and it was enough. Very comfy bed - linens provided which was great too.
Everything was great! I wish we could stay longer…

We had an amazing trip.
The instructions were clear and when we didn't know what to do William was around to answer through whatsApp. The camper came with everything we expected and we certainly made a great use of all the gear and items.

The van was great! A previous renter had damaged the windows so we were unable to use them but they were headed out to be fixed after us. Disappointing but I guess you can’t really control that. Also the fridge broke but William was available to troubleshoot it with us and offered to purchase a cooler and refunded for food lost to make it right. Great communication and a great van. Very minimal as stated but just enough for what you need. Pack light! I don’t think four adults would fit well but if you have young kids this would be great. We were two adults traveling together and very comfortable. We didn’t use the tent so can not speak to that. Would rent again!!

Excellent service all round. William was very accommodating of our needs around pick up and drop off. The whole process was very straightforward (the best I've had with rentals). The Mercedes Metris camper was in great condition - very clean and comfortable, and clearly well serviced. Would definitely recommend.
