I really enjoyed renting this camper van for my regatta weekend! It was exactly what I expected- classic and cool. My only regret is not booking an extra day to explore and adventure more!

We had the best time in Boomarang! I was lucky enough to propose while using it! Drove great and ran like a charm! Will definitely rent again if back in town. Rick was awesome and showed you everything you need to know. Highly recommend. If you’ve read this far and don’t get it your making a mistake!

What a wonderful and unique experience! This is a classic driving experience, for real. Rick was very helpful and kind. We were so grateful to sleep comfortably on our camping trip (it rained the entire weekend). We'd love to come back on some sunny days!

Amazing!!!! Rick was super friendly, explained everything there is to know about Boomerang (the van) and off we went! If you want to travel back in time to the 70s and take beautiful photos while cruising this is for you :)

Great ride! Perfect for romps around Olympic National. Better than tent camping. Richard shared everything you need to know about the bus. If you stopped to look, rent it!!

Driving this vintage 1977 VW was a blast!
So many people waved as I drove by or stopped at my campsite to guess the year!
Rick was very helpful explaining everything I needed to know and the original owner's manual, in mint condition, was in glove box.
Bed was comfy and appreciated tbe propane heater on chilly mornings.
I would highly recommend!

Richard is one of the best hosts I've interacted with - very informative and timely with responses. The vehicle is is such a pleasure to be in - great layout/decor, extremely comfortable fold-out bed/mattress and excellent add-ons that Richard provides such as a portable stove, cooler and solar-powered lamps. Highly recommend renting this vehicle and meeting Richard!

Rick is awesome and so is the van. It's the perfect vehicle for hopping around the Olympic Peninsula and seeing the sights. So nice to have the flexibility of a bedroom on wheels. The area is beautiful, and your trip will be enhanced by the unique driving experience.

Loved this van! We rented it just for the day to cruise around port Angeles and it was a show stopper! Fun memories were made!

Rick did a great job explaining everything we needed to know about the cute cute bus, and gave us a great tip on a campground. We loved our adventure in the magical Olympic National Park, and sleeping in this little beauty was comfortable and fun. A great trip, all in all.

Richard provided options for camp gear to get us going and walked us through the capabilities of this iconic ride. Amazingly the cushions and sleep setup were comfortable throughout our camping adventure even better than our murphy bed in our 2016 travel trailer. It was an amazing journey sharing peace and love with the VW tribe on the road as we listened to the 70s tracks piped in from the iphone. We got the head turns, smiles and listened to the nostalgic stories of those who rode/camped/drove the VW bus as kids where ever we stopped for gas or camped. The bus made for great memories and adventures by taking the slow lane.
