To start... Andrew and his family are great. Not only did we get to meet early and take a look at the camper but made sure this was a fit for both families… made sure my truck would work for his rig and his hitch. I don’t believe any of this was in anyway mandatory in the least. This all could have been done at the time of pick up… however he made the time so that I could make a choice to commit to renting this camper and that greatly helped me.In the early visit the camper was not completely prepared to rent… because it was being stored. However it was extremely clean and tidy. Even better… when we picked it up is was sparkling and very well organized for us.Pickup of the trailer went well. We took over an hour or more covering everything. Andrew and his wife were able to answer all my questions. Hook up and turnover was very smooth. All the needed tools and accessories for set up and use were all labeled in their separate bins. Extremely helpful for us since the layout was organized. On the interior… Andrew had linens, towels, pillow, pots, pans, cutlery, and a coffee pot. I’m sure there was even more but I can’t think of it off the top of my head. We cooked in the oven and on the three burner stove and all went well. My wife also brought our insta-pot which worked like a champ! The refrigerator worked perfectly for the trip. While traveling we switched it to propane and there was no problem keeping stuff cool / frozen. Andrew had the two propane tanks completely topped off for us… plenty of fuel for cooking and cooling! We took the camper to North Central Oklahoma and stay in two full service RV parks. Electrical was no issue. We ran both HVAC’s on the 50amp connections with no issue. HVAC worked like a champ for late May in OK. There were a few times I used my 30amp generator to run the one main HVAC while outside of any hook ups so we could sit comfortable in the camper for lunch or a break. All the needed conversion pieces were there (the generator was mine).I pulled the camper with a 2017 F250 with the 6.7 diesel. No issue pulling it… but at 38’… this is a really long trailer. Visibility was good considering it’s just a big trailer. My extendable mirrors helped but it was a little harder to see out the passenger side. With regards to height clearance… 13’ of clearance is about your magic height number for clearance (it’s lower but that is a good rule of thumb). Andrew provided a hitch for a 2” receiver. I had to reduce to 2” from 2.5”. Hit hitch was fitting for the sway control bars. These really helped. Our stay in both locations was very comfortable for a family of four. The back bedroom with the bunks and table were a major consideration. My wife and I could close the kids door when they finally where asleep and clean up and prepare for the next day. This was a very big help. The queen bed was good… has an upgraded mattress and I slept well. I feel the bathroom is large for a camper. The shower which has halfmoon doors gave extra room for adults. Hot water was not a problem unless all four of us took back to back to back showers. It did seem to re-heat quickly if given a short break. There are two grey water tanks… one for the kitchen and the other for the shower / bath sink. They are a good size and the electronic level indicators all work and give a good idea.We made it back and the turn in process was smooth. I met them in the hardware store parking lot and had everything ready to hitch back up and ready for inspection. All looked good and completing all the paperwork with Andrew was a breeze.Overall I would highly recommend. We are going to actually re-rent this one in a few weeks for a 10 day trip. Absolutely no issues and I feel like this is a good value for what we get. Andrew was quick and available for question while on the trip. Best of all… we got the sweetest note from the family upon taking delivery. Just awesome!Gray Harrison
