Über Peters Wohnmobilvermietungen

I live year-round in Talkeetna, Alaska, and in the summer run a fly fishing guiding business in addition to building and renting wilderness cabins. Most of my off-season is working as a Journalist for numerous national periodicals and websites. If you're in Alaska, please pick up one of my books, Tales of the Alaska State Troopers, from Skyhorse Publishing. We often have our standard poodle Millie in tow and she loves to meet our renters.

Peter is a terrific host & his van is awesome. We had everything we needed to relax by a fire at night, cook meals & make coffee, and the bed is very comfortable. I would definitely rent again!

Woot woot! Rent this van and tour in style like a boss! We had a superb 19 night tour of Alaska in this incredible van! So many compliments on this van from bystanders. Bed super comfy, easy to cook, open space to move around, easy to drive, easy to park, the 360 backup cameras were amazing. Campervanning in Alaska was easy….lots of trash disposal places, lots of available showers, lots of roadside restrooms, and plenty of camping sites, even if it was just side of the road overlooks. Peter was great, and we can’t thank him enough for having this Rockstar van for us! Kate was amazing, and I felt I made a friend in Alaska with her! Do it!

Perfect van for exploring the Alaskan highways and discovering epic camping along the way. The van has all the amenities we needed including a very comfortable bed, sink, pop out table, heater, recessed lighting, reading lights, blackout shades, and so much more. The 20 gallon water tank was easy to refill at campgrounds. Peter has clearly done an amazing job building this van and making it the perfect travel companion for those seeking an Alaskan adventure. He is also very prompt at responding to questions and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!

Our two weeks in this van was perfect! It’s a well thought out layout and included everything we needed to enjoy our time back in Alaska. Kate picked us up at the airport and gave us a comprehensive intro to the vans inner workings and Peter was quick to answer any additional questions via messaging. It’s always fun to see how van owners utilize the small van spaces . Having built out a 170 WB I was impressed by how roomy this build in the shorter 144 WB was. The van is a solid well maintained driving machine up for adventure.

This is the perfect vehicle for heading out into the wilds of Alaska. You can park it anywhere as it’s not too long, yet it was just big enough for my wife and I to live in for 2 weeks.
