About Peter's RV rentals

I live year-round in Talkeetna, Alaska, and in the summer run a fly fishing guiding business in addition to building and renting wilderness cabins. Most of my off-season is working as a Journalist for numerous national periodicals and websites. If you're in Alaska, please pick up one of my books, Tales of the Alaska State Troopers, from Skyhorse Publishing. We often have our standard poodle Millie in tow and she loves to meet our renters.

Our two weeks in this van was perfect! It’s a well thought out layout and included everything we needed to enjoy our time back in Alaska. Kate picked us up at the airport and gave us a comprehensive intro to the vans inner workings and Peter was quick to answer any additional questions via messaging. It’s always fun to see how van owners utilize the small van spaces . Having built out a 170 WB I was impressed by how roomy this build in the shorter 144 WB was. The van is a solid well maintained driving machine up for adventure.

The van was wonderful -- everything we'd hoped for. Peter has done a great job of kitting it out, making it cosy and welcoming. The bed is particularly comfortable.

This is the perfect vehicle for heading out into the wilds of Alaska. You can park it anywhere as it’s not too long, yet it was just big enough for my wife and I to live in for 2 weeks.

This was perfect for our trip!!! Peter was great and fast at replying. Resolved all issues we had before and during the trip. He even added a bike rack for us. Unfortunately it didn’t work out for our bikes but it was nice of him to have that as an option. Easy pick up and drop off! It was perfect. Thank you for letting us explore AK in your van.
