We had a blast! Great vehicle, great experience, would do it again anytime. Herminio was super responsive and the truck was top-notch and well equipped with all you need to set up a cozy camp.

Herminio was super helpful with planning and answering questions during our trip. The camping equipment was everything we needed. Extra space in the truck for our bags and food was tight, but it all fit. Spent a few rainy nights on the road to Hana in thunderstorm weather, but the tent held up with only a bit of wetness and dried out easily. Tent was easy to setup, managed to do it with just one person by the end of our trip.

10/10. Great communication and a really awesome rig. Much easier to put up the tent on this rig vs. going with one of the jeeps. We had a blast camping at Hosmer's Grove up on top of the mountain (It gets COLD but the sleeping bags and extra blanket worked great - just be sure to set up the rain fly correctly!!!).

If you’re going to go to Maui go this way! I will say the same thing here that I told Herminio in our communication; his truck and the attention to detail that he put into, not only the truck and camper itself but the information he included with it is inspiring! He made what could have been a stressful time on an island I’ve never been to, an amazing, relaxed and incredibly enjoyable experience!

Fantastic rental! The truck was very clean and the camping gear was very high quality! The Tepui tent is SUPER easy to put up and take down and can be taken up or put down in about 5 minutes. Herminio was incredibly helpful in telling us where some fantastic off the grid oceanfront camp spots were. We didn't have any problem finding a spot each night. Herminio was great to work with, he brought the truck to us at our hotel, answered all our questions and even included a 15 gallon pressurized water tank with the truck, which was very helpful for rinsing off after being in the ocean. I highly recommend this rental! Be sure to download the Shaka Guide App for a great driving tour of the island! The Shaka Guide was not only entertaining, but really helpful for navigating the island where there was no cell service.

Rental was great, if you havent made camping reservations a head of time you should do so. We braved the road side beach parking. All went well but camp grounds are nicer. Make reservations for camping spots first.
