Dependable RV at an affordable cost. You need to know what you’re doing to rent this RV. It is over 20 years old so even though it’s got low miles, it’s got it quirks.

Lee's RV is NOT as advertised. The RV did not have an operable AIR CONDITIONER, HOT WATER, AWNING, or a TV at all. The RV also smells like sewage no matter what you do (we thoroughly cleaned it, bought several air fresheners and sprays).
We offered, through Outdoorsy, to have the air conditioning professionally fixed, but were told we must wait for Lee's authorization. Guess what! Lee refused to respond to Outdoorsy's attempts to contact him. Not to mention record high temperatures in Montana during the first week of July.
Our family was forced to stick it out due to the fact that we came from Baltimore MD and Outdoorsy had no other RV's to rent us.
Lee is not honest about the condition of his RV.
Below are two photos: One shows the broken awning that we were not told about and the second shows how Lee uses a hair tie to keep exterior compartment doors closed. Just a small example of the condition of his RV.

We were initially hesitant to rent a 1999 vehicle but were very impressed with the quality of Lee's Dutchman relative to the age and price of the rental. The engine, powertrain, handling and air conditioner all worked very well. We were able to make it over mountain passes very comfortably and safely. The upholstry and bedding was all recently replaced so sleeping was very comfortable. If you are wanting the latest and greatest RV features and technology, this is not your vehicle. If you want a comfortable, safe and authentically fun rental for Montana and Tetons, book with confidence!

Lee was promt with communication. The RV was mechanically sound, There were issues with the living quarters of the RV. There are amenities that are listed that are not on the RV. Like No TV, no aircontioning, No hot water, the awning is very unsecure.(fyi awnings are not covered under outdoorsy insurance) we found a water leak on day one therefore no shower, no toilet, or sink. We flew 1200 miles after renting the rv. It is really too late to turn back. The RV did not meet the our expectations nor did it meet what outdoorsy had said about it. Prior to sealing the deal go thur all the details with the owner

Lee was great and extremely thorough when explaining all the mechanicals and usage! We had a great time experiencing Yellowstone by camper which allowed us to see and move through the park at our own speed. We didn't have to get a hotel and car so it served it's purpose for us.

I had rented another RV from someone else and was notified two days before my trip that the engine blew. I got on outdoorsy and this was the only one left to rent in my size and price range. I rented it for Sunday thru Friday. Lee told me that I couldn’t pick it up until after 8pm Sunday, which is fine, but I returned it a night early do to a flight departure change we had. Your supposed to get 100 miles per day for the rental and I used it for 635 miles. I rented it for 6 days and Lee charged me for 5 days of mileage and 135 mileage of average, which it should have been 35 miles of average. Also, it only has only battery running the house, so if your in a dry camp (no hook ups) and can’t run the generator do to quite time, your screwed. There is not enough battery to run the house by itself. And last, there is a front cab curtain, for privacy through the windshield, while camping. You have the use a sun visor and bed sheets to close off the cab.

We had a great family trip in this RV. It served most of our needs while camping for a week in Yellowstone National Park.

Some glitches with the battery and not enough blankets for 5 people.
Very clean and Lee was easy to work with- just an older camper that may be best suited to renter with mechanical ability.
