Aloha, We are local family that enjoys camping and the beauty of Kauaʻi. We were both born and raised in Hawaiʻi and love being in the outdoors as a family. In ʻolelo Hawaiʻi (the Hawaiian language) holoholo means to cruise or to move at a leisurely pace. So we encourage you to holoholo with us and enjoy the peaceful beauty of Kauaʻi at your own pace in one of our campers. Mahalo!

Our experience with Kauai Holoholo Campers was great.
They were very responsive and helpful.
The car is brand new, clean and convenient.
They provide everything you need for a great camping trip on Kauai.
I would just recommend adding a manual pump for the mattress if the car is park too far from the tent.

Everything was great! Pick up was really easy and quick. The communication with Kauai Holoholo campers was also very easy to follow.

First time on the island and using Outdoorsy, and the experience was great. The host was very friendly and helpful to navigate the island through recommendations of hostels and campsites on the island.

We had the chance to explore Kauai with this nice Kia Soul. The car was so clean and in such a great shape that we thought that we were the first ones to use it. The camping equipment was as good as new as well, the matress didn’t lose any pressure and the tent was vert easy to set up. We were able to sleep comfortably and cook for ourselves every night without any problem. Communications with Tom were very easy and casual, he even came to our rescue when we locked ourselves out of the car. We didn’t hold back from exploring the entire island and it didn’t hurt our budget since the car doesn’t need much gas. I do not hesitate to recommend Tom’s ride ! Mahalo Tom 🌈

Hosts were very sweet and communicative. The process of renting through outdoorsy can get a little confusing, and they were very helpful! Also provided suggestions to help us find a campsite, as unfortunately, many of the sites were unexpectedly closed the week we visited and previous research of the island expressed the ease of finding drive-up camping with no reservation. Be aware that the best way to camp in Kauai is to plan camping ahead of time!! I appreciated the hosts' willingness to help. Most importantly, hosts provided everything needed for camping! They put a lot of thought into the gear provided and everything was of great quality. The only helpful tip I will add is that the air pump provided hooks into the car. If you will not be setting up camp very close to the car, it's a good idea to stop at the Walmart and purchase a battery operated pump, as airmattress needs to be blown up once inside the tent. Everything was great and I definitely reccomend these people for renting if camping in Kauai! Would happily rent from them again 😊

We had a wonderful vacation week on Kaua'i and we definitely recommend booking one of Thomas' vans to explore the island! This is a great way to be close to nature ans explore all the areas (all very different) of the island. Thomas and his wife have been a pleasure to deal with from start to beginning, Thomas gave us tips on the best campgrounds to book, he was always available and answered all of our questions super quickly and make van pick-up/drop-off super convenient! Not to mention how well the van is equipped, everything is provided to ensure the smoothest camping conditions, we did not miss one single thing to make the most of our vacations. Thanks again to Thomas and his wife for making sure we had the best trip on Kaua'i!
