Über Joshua & Madison Haymes

Hello! Our names are Joshua & Madison Haymes, and we live in Los Angeles, CA. We love camping, hiking, surfing, disc golf, and honestly just being outdoors in general (but don't we all:) We have been renting campervans on outdoorsy since 2019. Our first campervan we owned/rented out was a 1986 VW Vanagon Westfalia. We recently traded in the VW for a 2021 Mercedes Benz Sprinter. We upgraded the Mercedes sprinter into a sweet adventure ride with all the bells and whistles. We hope to share the joy of camping in style with our epic van with other people, so rent her out for an adventure!

Joshua and Madison made it easy to pick up and drop off the van. The van was great and the diesel engine got great mileage. The only complaint we had was there was no air conditioning when the van wasn’t running. This made sleeping uncomfortably hot.

This van is incredible I loved how easy it was to pull in and be set up. I took my 21 month old daughter on our first adventure to camp in NC and she absolutely loved the van. Was super easy to accommodate her in this van. The outdoor shower on the back was amazing under the stars. Had a freaking blast!

Madison and Josh were super knowledgeable and friendly and helpful. They were quick to respond to any questions I had. The van… oh man!!! This rig was legit! I knew NOTHING about camper vans but theirs is a head turner. I was stopped and complimented on it numerous times. Also it felt intuitive as far as daily living. Honestly a great experience!!

Everything was smooth as can be with Josh’s Sprinter! Exactly as advertised, efficiently designed, and in great condition. I also accidentally left an item in the sprinter that was very important to me and Josh was nice enough to retrieve it and be available for me to come pick it up at my convenience. We had an amazing time and would love to have the opportunity to rent from them again!

This was a super experience. Madison was great - made the pick up and drop off soooo easy. The van was very well equipped and extremely comfortable. We camped in Big Bear and Joshua Tree and loved every minute of our experience with the Sprinter. It was easy to drive and maneuver. I would 100% recommend this rental!

Joshua ans Madison's camper is amazing. It's brand new, easy to drive and very comfortable. The check in experience was easy and Madison was so friendly and responsive. I will definitely rent this camper again.

Sure helpful on pickup and super easy to return. The van was SPOTLESS and very capable for the trip to Death Valley, Mojave, and Joshua Tree. Would absolutely recommend this van to others.

We had the most wonderful time in Joshua's and Madison's Sprinter on a long weekend to Joshua Tree NP and Palm Springs. The van is very easy to drive and feels spacious and we enjoyed its great amenities (top loading fridge and gas stove are terrific, we loved the outdoor shower, very cosy mattress, abundance of storage, well stocked kitchen supplies). Madison and Joshua are wonderful hosts! Easy to communicate with and very accommodating in terms of pickup and drop-off times. Per our request they provided towels, pillows and bed sheet. Madison treated us to a perfect walk-through at the beginning (with detailed information and test drive including short drive on highway and stop at gas station). Highly recommend!!!

I’ve heard of camper vans but this is nuts! Took this bad boi out to Ventura and caught the best waves of my life. I was very impressed by the power, drivability, and the many safety features. Great for a quiet weekend or making memories on family vacay. Joshua and Madison are the chillest and the illest and a wealth of knowledge on all things fun. Do it! Rent the van!
