Lucky was a charm for our first van camping experience. Communication with Sam and Chester was seamless. Chester was an excellent host and made everything feel easy, comfortable, and exciting from the start. When we picked up the van, he gave us a thorough, clear walkthrough and covered all of the key information we needed for a successful trip. He made sure we had everything we needed, answered our questions with patience, and was incredibly supportive, communicative, and enthusiastic throughout the process. The van itself was super clean, thoughtfully stocked, easy to use, and ready for adventure, with comfortable sleeping space and helpful extras that made the whole experience effortless. We really only needed to bring our groceries. We had a fantastic first van camping trip, would absolutely rent Lucky again, and highly recommend renting from this family!

Chester is a great host and the camper van has everything you need. Had an incredible experience camping over the Fourth of July! Very impressed with the “van life”. Will definitely rent Lucky again.

Everything was great from pick-up to drop-off and host Chester was very helpful for a couple first time sprinter van users. Van is well stocked and as advertised with everything you need but the food. We'll rent again for the next trip.

Renting from Chester and family was wonderful! Incredibly thorough and informative. We felt prepared before leaving. Lucky the Van was an amazing experience with far more than we expected! Driving it was easy even with the large size. Fully outfitted. All we had to do was bring ourselves. We had 4 adults in the double stacked beds. Bottom is a tighter fit but we all slept very well. Beds were comfortable! 10/10 experience and would definitely rent from them again.

Chester and Sam are the kindest hosts and very well organized. Lucky (the sprinter van) has everything your family needs for a dream glamping experience. So much thought goes into every detail and maintenance of the vehicle. I was traveling solo with my toddler and this set up was ideal for us to see the coast and stay at state parks without having to constantly pack and unpack. Sam and Chester can install the back seats if you need them for carseat hookups or remove them if you want the extra space. Ottocast baby cam pairs with the applecarplay in the van, and the electric, A/C or heat, and water pump equipment is easy to use and intuitive. Amazing first experience with outdoorsy.

Lucky was awesome, and gave us a good opportunity to see if vanlife could work for our family of 5 (4 humans, 1 geriatric canine). We spent a wintery weekend at the beach, stayed nice and cozy when we were in the van, and enjoyed the ease of travel with this setup. The hosts were super helpful and communicative-we would definitely rent this van again!

We took “Lucky” on an unforgettable trip to Helena and back, stopping at seven BLM and remote campsites along the way. The ride was smooth, comfortable, and easy, and the van was an absolute dream to sleep in. It kept us cozy when the temperature dipped to 27°F and perfectly cool when it climbed to 80°F. It had everything we needed—and more. Chester and his family were incredibly helpful and quick to answer any questions we had.

I rented Lucky on an emergency basis - I returned another camper van in the area with a house battery problem, and found Lucky as a suitable replacement. Chester, the owner, was very accommodating and easy to work with. I did have a minor problem with the diesel heater refusing the run, but the heat could also run off electricity. Chester offered to come out and fix, and I appreciated the care and effort. The house battery charges only by driving the van - no solar. I found driving for 1 hour was more than enough to recharge the battery. Stationary, the battery can reasonably last 2-3 days depending on use. The induction cooktop is the biggest drain, but Lucky also comes with a camp stove. I’d say the shower isn’t that practical to use other than a rare occasion. Lucky’s fresh water tank is 20 gallons, and the hot water heater gets shower water mildly warm. I did really like the bed setup - long enough for me at 6-3. And the windows in the rear allowed for nice ventilation at night. Another plus is you can dim the overhead lights at night; no getting blasted by bright LED’s. Definitely rent Lucky if the specs fit your needs.

We had an awesome time renting “Lucky” with our family of four. Our kids loved the cozy lower bunk and my 6’4” husband and I slept soundly on the top bunk! Chester and his family were very helpful getting us aquatinted with the vehicle, and answering any questions we had while on our trip. We hope to rent from them again, we had an awesome time!

Everything we hoped for and more. The host was amazing and thoughtful. He went over the entire vehicle with care and a genuine focus on us having a great experience. The van was amazing and had everything you could possibly need for an adventure. The beds were comfortable and large. Sink, large mini fridge, shower, swivel chairs, awning. All worked great and made the weekend so effortless. Thank you so much for offering this vehicle for our use. Highly recommend.

Chester and his crew made the whole process effortless. The walkthrough was clear and efficient, and they answered every question with patience. We felt taken care of from the start. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Tons of thoughtful extras included, no nickel-and-diming. The van was spotless, well-equipped, and performed perfectly for our trip. Super friendly and accommodating group. Highly recommend. These are the people you want to rent from.
