I am not in the habit of giving low reviews on anything but feel compelled to warn others so they will not have to go thru my experience. I am giving 2 stars: 1 because it is a new camper and pretty nice(except for the bathroom door that will not close) and 1 because eventually owners had someone come out to service it on the second day and replace dead battery so heater would work. I’ll start at the beginning. When I contacted owner to arrange pick up she requested that I pick it up the night before which was fine with me. When I got to the address the camper was on the front yard with a steep slope into the street, not on a flat concrete surface as shown in the posting. It was very dark and when the lights would not go on in the camper the women explained she forgot to charge the battery and would need to plug in the camper to get power. The check out was minimal to say the least. I just sold a pop-up camper I had for 7 years and am familiar with a lot of the features on campers but when I would ask her how to do anything she would tell me it’s in the manual. All she really showed me was just the very basics of turning on the lights and hooking up power. She did not demonstrate how to use the toilet, drain the septic tank, turn on heater, where or how to use thermostat, Propane turn off etc. I could go on but won’t. I am skeptical this women even knows how to demonstrate these features as it does not even seem like it is her camper. I hooked up the camper after backing my car up the slope and had a difficult time exciting her yard and neighborhood almost jackknifing trailer even though I have been used to towing a trailer for the past 30 years. I drove the camper to our campsite and hooked up to power. It happened to be a very cold night in Live Oak, FL that night going down to 31 degrees which we had not really planned on but the camper was supposed to have a heater so we thought no problem. However we could not get it to work. The manual is very non-specific and difficult but I tried trouble shooting and then after contacting “owner” and having her “business partner” get back to me by text I had already tried everything he suggested and we had a very cold night. The next day I still could not get the heater to work and saw a passage in the Manual that stated both propane and 12V systems need to be functioning for the heater to work and felt the dead battery may be why the heater did not work. I finally texted the “business partner” that the camper rented to me was not as advertised because they rented me a camper with a dead battery and non –working heater. After that exchange a service person came out the next night and replaced the dead battery and a faulty panel. When I returned the camper there was now a car parked in front of the owners house making it even more difficult to back the trailer in. After about 7 tries with my vehicle in the neighbors yard across the street trying to line up the angle I was able to back the trailer into the lawn and was instructed to keep backing it up further by the owner. This final few feet backing up the slope ripped off the bracket holding the light harness connection from my vehicle. This upset me as I realized that this women was making people back this camper in and I don’t think she even has a vehicle herself that can do it as she did not allow me to leave it in front of her house in the street or in her driveway. I asked if she would consider refunding me the $105 for the first night as the camper was not as advertised which would help pay for the bracket I was going to have to get fixed and she told me she would ask her “business partner”. It has been 2 weeks and I have not heard anything so I am submitting my review. I would not recommend this camper if you do not already know how everything works or are not very skilled at backing a camper into a tight space.

Our trip ended before it began as our father fell ill and we were compelled to stay near home. We made the best of it though, setting up in our front drive and lawn where we camped for two nights just exploring the conveniences of this beautiful camper. We'll never forget it, and the overall experience was painless and rewarding. Thanks to the owners for offering this wonderful camper on Outdoorsy. We're planning our next outing, this time perhaps a little farther from home...
