The spark behind Boston Camps came after meeting up with some friends at the park. It was towards the end of the summer and we were recounting our summer adventures. After mentioning our various camping trips we heard a familiar refrain… “We should do that, but I haven’t camped in ages”. We will be creating and posting content to to help families navigate camping in New England. Feel free to checkout our listings, we've attempted to translate our experiences into a great, rentable and preconfigured towable trailer. Happy camping!

Positives: The cushions were comfortable, and the storage cubes were convenient.Negatives: The pickup process was delayed because the owner didn’t bring the correct hitch extension, which added an hour to our schedule. We had to drive to his apartment to get it, which delayed our departure and caused us to hit more traffic. During the walkthrough, the owner mentioned several instances where previous renters had damaged the trailer, which seemed excessive and a bit concerning in hindsight. One issue he pointed out was the deadbolt to the rear hatch, claiming it had been broken by a past renter but was now fixed. Unfortunately, when we arrived at our campsite, the deadbolt wasn’t working, and we couldn’t open the hatch, making the camper feel cramped.

Another great weekend with Happy One! We love this little trailer. Love that James provides everything for a camp kitchen set up - just bring your own food and beverages.
The modular interior is also such a great feature - play around with different layouts to maximize you usage!!

First RV trailer experience and we basically used it as just an extra bedroom at parents house. We enjoyed so much we’re shopping for one ourselves

Very happy campers! We loved our weekend "glamping" in HappyOne! James provided everything we needed to set up the site including chairs, outdoor rugs, lights, and a cooking kit. We brought linens, clothes, food, games and our dog.

We had the BEST time camping with the Happier Camper. James was amazing and so helpful to us every step of the way. The camper had everything we needed to make our trip fun safe and exciting. We will do this again.

We had a blast renting the Happy One for our road trip from Boston to Niagara Falls and the Finger Lakes regions of NY. James was more than flexible with pickup and dropoff times, and the rig was great. We are seasoned tent campers, but with two younger kids and a number of stops along the way, the convenience and comfort the camper provided were a welcome change of pace. We were pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the mattresses were. We all slept well throughout the trip, a huge plus when you're outdoors for 10 days! The large windows and fan -- plus the ability to open the back hatch -- kept us cool despite the heat wave that hit NY on our trip. We appreciated the little touches James included, too, like extra marshmallow sticks, outdoor carpets, and fun lanterns.

So much to say, so few characters! This rental was awesome. From pickup to drop off James was great about showing me all the features and hookups. The process was smooth and our enjoyment was through the roof. A very comfortable, well-designed unit it had everything we needed. Navigating the roads was even easier than I hoped and we slept soundly next to Lake Winnipesaukee in NH. The many windows gave us a nice breeze we didn't even need the A/C. It accommodated my wife and I along with our 12 yo 115 lb Lab, he loved that he could stretch out on the floor right next to us. I highly recommend this rental to anyone curious about trying a towed RV for a glimpse into the life, we'd rent it again in a heartbeat. Also, a really fun thing was the curiosity and interest of passerby's where we parked. So many people asked where we got it, what was the inside like, how was it to sleep in. I wished I had flyers to pass out! James - thanks again for helping us have a very memorable weekend!

Rented for a quick day trip. Super easy to hook up and tow. 2 small kids love the bunk. Came with everything needed for a relaxing trip with the family. I specifically needed the AC to keep the wife and kids happy campers and it didn't disappoint.

Amazing experience for our family of four. Lightweight trailer was easy to pull with my SUV (Volvo XC-90). Pick up was a breeze -- James walked me through everything and had a height-adjustable hitch for me to use. Our two kids (7 years old) loved the bunk beds and we slept very comfortably. We pulled the kitchenette out while we were at camp at it was great -- including a Kovea Cube Stove with 2 butane canisters that we used to make coffee and make breakfast.
