We decided to rent a camper van because it was easier and more cost-efficient to see all the places we wanted to see on a flexible schedule compared to separately renting a car and booking hotels.

Thanks so much, Dina! Really appreciate you taking the time to write this. It was great having you guys, and I’m so glad the vintage van worked out so well for the trip. We’ve put a ton of time into these vans over the last couple of years, so reviews like this genuinely mean a lot to us. Hope we get to see you back out this way again someday soon!

We recently enjoyed a week touring around Nova Scotia and Cape Breton in a Casual Caravan sprinter. What a beautiful and well planned out conversion that felt comfortable and spacious for us. The interior was well set up with everything we needed to cook and be cosy. Loved the dimming lighting, custom cabinetry, warm water, cooking gear. Everything was well thought out.
Sheldon was a pleasure to work with, easily answering my questions and giving us flexibility for pick up and drop off.
We enjoyed the flexibility of being nomadic and found fun places to camp.
We would recommend Casual Caravans to friends planning to explore the beautiful Atlantic coast.

I absolutely loved the van I had! It had everything I needed for my trip around the Maritimes. The van was really nice to drive. Sheldon and Charlie were excellent with their communications. I would definitely rent from them again. 10/10

Casual Caravans was very easy to work with, communication was excellent. We had one of their vans for eleven nights. It made for a very enjoyable trip around Nova Scotia, PEI, and the Cabot Trail. The bed was comfortable, and everything was in working order and was very user friendly.
I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a few nights of VanLife.

Highly recommend this great independent company. We had a fantastic time exploring Cape Breton in August with a seamless pickup and drop-off. The van was clean, reliable, thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed and easy to drive. Sheldon and Charlie were friendly, helpful and responsive whenever we had queries. We definitely hope to book again for future adventures!

Interaction and booking was great with the company owner. The camper had everything you needed from towels for the beach, kitchen 🍽 items, toilet paper and kindle for a fire. There's even a little shower in the back and a toilet available upon request $. The van is older going 100 on the hwy was abit difficult, you really need a firm grip on the wheel, when the wind hits the van it shakes back and forth. Ventilation inside (summer) is hot for sleeping. Otherwise, we had a great trip and use of the vehicle would recommend this service, hopefully they will be able to upgrade the vehicles in the future.

We had such an amazing 2 week adventure in Nova Scotia and Newfoundland and it was all thanks to this amazing camper van from Casual Caravans The pickup was super easy and Charlie walked us through all of the van and it’s super easy to use systems. Charlie and Sheldon were also super easy to get a hold of throughout the trip when we had any questions. We rented bikes (shoutout Bike and Bean) so being able to rent the bike rack was a huge plus. The hot water for the shower and the sink was really nice, along with the van being fully stocked with everything we needed to cook all 3 meals. Again, this camper van was so awesome to live in for 2 weeks and we can’t thank Casual Caravans enough!
