About John's RV rentals
Hello there and thanks for checking in! We are an outdoorsy family who loves to give and create memorable experiences. We have lived in beautiful Colorado for 7+ years now, and have always been eager to spend as much time outdoors, as one can. For this purpose, we spent months and months to build out our own conversion, with our four hands, and luxury convenience and functionality in mind. We took a leap and decided to make dreams come through, and traveled along the west coast for 3 months. This was such a life-changing experience for us, that we thought everyone should have the opportunity to experience such. And that is why we are here. :) Our adventures would not have been the same without our pup, Winston. We designed our van to provide convenience and safety to our best friends. Our trip was excellent. The Van had everything we could possible want. When John said just bring groceries and your personal items he wasn't kidding. He was great to work with. Clear instructions and accommodating. I will definitely rent this van again for our next adventure.

This is our fourth time renting with Outdoorsy and John’s van was one of our absolute favourites! It’s really well set up, lots of storage space, and everything worked perfectly for our few days in the Rockies. John was also very flexible and friendly and we so appreciated that he was really invested in us having a great trip. As another commenter below noted, I would in future remember to bring an extra long charging cable since there isn’t an outlet in the front of the van, but the solar power for the rest of the van worked flawlessly. We absolutely loved our time in this van and would rent from John again in a heartbeat - thanks for a wonderful trip!!

The host was on point with communication – super helpful! This camper van had all the essentials dialed in and you could tell it was well cared for. it has a ton of storag We had a fantastic trip - glamping it up! My only concern is the bed. If you're much over six feet, you'll be doing some serious scrunching, especially if you're sharing the space. Solo travelers might get by, but it's a tight squeeze with two.

The van is beautifully built. The solar panels were more than enough to power all our electrical needs. Knowing the refrigerator was always cold was a relief! All amenities were well stocked in good order. We had an amazing trip. Thank you, John!

My husband and I rented cloud 9 for six nights and couldn’t have been happier with our experience. We loved everything about it. The van was comfortable to travel in, sleep in and had everything we needed - camping chairs, comfortable bedding, cookware, eating utensils, a French press for coffee, running water, a small fridge and storage. My husband is 5’9” and was able to sleep comfortably stretched out. One of the best parts of this campervan is the huge windshield and front windows that allow you to take in all the incredible scenery while driving. John was very communicative and walked us through every detail of the van. The pick up and drop off was super easy. I would absolutely rent this van again.

Had an amazing trip with Sunnyside. Our dream of experiencing van life came true! Everything we needed for our Colorado-Utah roadtrip and easy to drive. We stayed in both regular campgrounds and dispersed ones. Never any issues and quick and clear communication with John.

Our trip was fantastic from beginning to end. The conversion on the van is done extremely well. Everything you need is there and easily accessible. The van drives well even up and over mountain passes. Jon was a terrific host, from the introductory meeting and throughout the trip when we had questions about how things worked, we are already looking forward to our next trip!

John’s camper van was perfect for our 10 day road trip around Colorado. It had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay and was very easy to drive and sturdy on the road. We only wish our trip was longer! Highly recommend ☺️

The van was phenomenal for our 8 day adventure trip. It handled perfectly up some steep AWD backroads for dispersed camping and the solar power was extremely efficient, in the entire 8 days it never once dipped below 90%. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for simple camp meals and the garage space in the back held our luggage and climbing gear with room to spare. The only downside we had was the bed was much more firm than we are used to and that coupled with the shorter length made sleeping pretty difficult for my 6’0 partner. But if you prefer or are used to firmer style mattresses you probably won’t even notice! Would absolutely rent from them again if we are exploring the Denver Colorado Springs area in the future. The management team was extremely friendly and communicative and made learning what we needed to operate the van straight forward.

my wife and I just finished two weeks in the Cloud Nine and I would say it was very near perfect. Had originally planned for several hotel nights, but none were needed. John has thought of just about everything. Well insulated and kept us plenty warm without needing the heater. Solar/battery had no issue keeping up with our needs and the 30 gal fresh water and 20 gal grey water tanks made things very easy. All-in-all just a great experience.
