Growing up spending my time in the outdoors of the Northwest and Utah looked a lot different than it does now. My packing had a lot more to do with how much I could fit into my pack and deciding how much weight I wanted to carry for days on end. I would wrestle with how much food to carry and what warm coat would keep me the most toasty but not be too heavy. Now, things are more focused on what will make my family comfortable and allow us to spend the most quality time together. We've been bumper pull trailer owners for years and now our trailer spends the summers sitting in a pristine mountain property in the Manti-La Sal Mountain range at 9000 ft. Because we leave it at our property that we informally refer to as Mountain Top, we no longer had the ability to up and leave somewhere on a spur of the moment camping trip. So, that's where Van Wilder came about. We purchased it to allow our amazing little family to build incredible memories together. We used to find ourselves dreaming of lakeside campsites in the Tetons, beachfront KOAs in Southern California, and sleeping under red rock arches in Moab. Well, with Van Wilder in our life, we no longer have to dream it, we do it!! We want nothing more than to help turn your dream vacation in the great outdoors a reality.
