First you changed the type of unit that I originally ordered and then you changed the pick up location. Furthermore, The owner was not present when I returned the unit. Also we did not use propane and more he wants to charge me. Horrible experience and I’ll never rent again

Hi David, thanks for your review. We switched the trailer with your approval and weeks of advance notice. You had a choice to decline. On the day of return, you did not contact us at the time of arrival. We found the trailer parked on street nearby. The system uses propane to heat water and to fuel the fridge, customers can top up and show receipt to avoid a charge. You did not communicate with us and left without completing checkout process.

My experience was horrible. 1) To start the trip when I picked up the trailer I was unaware that I needed my own hitch, I didn’t have the correct hitch with sway bars so I had to rent his for an “extra fee”. Most would assume when you rent a trailer the hitch comes with it. I guess not. 2) The original trailer (2021 28’) I rented had got totaled before my trip so he said he will “upgrade” me at no cost.. he sent the pic over and it was a generic pic of a new trailer, so I accepted the “upgrade” when I got to his house to pick up the trailer this was not the same trailer. This trailer was a 2006 older trailer. Seemed deceiving! 3) When you take a shower water drained from under the trailer all over our camp site, he blamed it on us he said we stepped on the drain inside the shower to hard. I’m not sure how that happened considering when my son (65lbs) was first to shower and that is when it started. 3) Under the sink had a slow leak that made the trailer smell like grey water for 2 days till we finally figured out where it was coming from, he again blamed that on us. This trip was horrible, please be aware when renting from this guy.

We took the RV up to a Northern California lake at 5500'. My Ram 1500 pulled it up the steep inclines with no problem. RB was very helpful with the setup on the day that I picked it up. Really had no questions once I got to our destination. The trailer had a nice layout and slept 3 comfortably. I will rent this trailer again and recommend this to others.

RB was very pleasant and easy to work with. He delivered and set up the trailer and picked it up as planned.
Trailer was very neat, clean and comfortable.
We had a little trouble with the tv in the master bedroom, but that's because its a smart tv and the RV park we were staying at didn't have either cable connection or wifi availability. We were able to watch local tv channels on the living area tv through the trailer antennae.
We enjoyed our trip.

I've rented RB Bali's RV for second time and it delivered again. I particularly appreciated the flexibility on pick-up and drop off time and the fact that it was fine for the RV to picked up by a friend that was utilizing it with me.
I'm sure this will not be the last time we'll enjoy the RV. Bonus point, despite its large size, it can be towed with my Audi Q7 comfortably.

Our family experience with RB was stressful. All in all, he communicated well and seemed like an upstanding guy considering the issues.
First issue:
As we connected the trailer with the weight distribution hitch, I noticed the emergency cable (breakaway) was too short. It was taut and needed to be several inches longer, minimum. RB assured me it was fine, and he never had issues. Upon leaving the campground to return the trailer, the cable broke loose on a right-hand turn dragging my truck to a sudden halt. If this occurred on the interstate, the trailer brakes would have locked up and could have caused an accident with my family inside. I addressed the issue with RB, and he stated that another truck had the same problem. This statement is a contradiction to what he initially told me. Due to the cable incident, one of the shower doors came loose from the track and fell against the bathroom door, causing a one-centimeter nick in the door. I was charged $150.00, so he could buy a new door instead of fixing the nick with wood putty and a stain pen. Safety should always come first.
Second issue:
Upon returning the trailer, RB informed me that it was not clean, to his arbitrary standards, and that he would be charging me a $150.00 fee. I inquired what was of concern to him, and he pointed out a few pieces of debris near the doors and dirt/mud on a small carpet. We might have done this during unloading after we initially cleaned. We offered to reclean. He stated that was acceptable. We recleaned and reviewed the work with RB. He said everything was fine. Later that evening, I received a text message stating he was still charging us a $150.00 fee as he found fine hairs in the bathroom. We submitted photo proof that we cleaned well and won the dispute through Outdoorsy.

Jamie, long story short there were problems with your trip that could have been avoided and were within your control. You were charged a fee for untidy return and damages occurred to the RV.

RB Bali did an absolute fantastic job! Five stars for sure!
This was an important event and RB made certain everything was in perfect order for our time camping. RB is a very kind and trustworthy person. He remained in touch and took care of everything as expected. His 28' Gulf Stream was a joy to stay in. Everything in the trailer worked and it had all the necessary items one would want.
I would highly recommend RB. When your whole vacation is on the line- he is the one you can trust to take care of all the necessary details. RB provided everything needed to hook the trailer up. He really knows his trailer and keeps it in perfectly clean/operational shape. Provides great customer service and is very easy to work with!
