We include your basic items like: plates, bowls, mugs, wine glasses, cutlery, etc, but we also go beyond with things like a variety of nice spices, olive oil, cork screw, steak knives etc. etc. even a lemon juicer and an ice cream scoop.All freshly cleaned bedding, down blankets, pillows & towels are included. 2 folding directors chairs and 2 folding ‘take to the beach’ chairs. Propane barbecue, patio mat, wiener/marshmallow roasting sticks, games, flashlights, etc. We have an extensive list we can email you on request. This motor home has a 5 cylinder 2.7 litre diesel motor.
The good thing about that, is it gets very good fuel economy for a fully equipped motorhome. The down side is it might not get you up those long steep hills as fast as some larger motors. We just get in the slow lane and take our time. We always get there, but just a little bit slower.Please, No Smoking of any kind inside the vehicle.

5Amazing experience!!! Randy and Sharon truly have thought of everything. Starting with incredibly detailed recommendations for trip planning via messenger, a gift basket personalized for our son when we arrived, and a thorough walk through of how to use the vehicle, we were blow away at the detail and care they have put into renting this RV out to guests. All this before we even started on our trip! Being 7 months pregnant, I was skeptical that I would sleep well on this trip. But was pleasantly surprised that the back bed was unbelievably comfortable!! We ALL slept wonderfully and were thankful that the RV came with both AC and heat if we needed it. It is clear they have taken meticulous care for the RV through regular check ups, cleaning, and maintenance. We felt confident the vehicle would carry us safely through our journey. Thank you Randy and Sharon for providing us the unique experience of safely touring BC's parks with The Cottage. I highly recommend renting this RV!!

5Absolutely amazing trip travelling with two young kids (20 months and 6) up and down the east coast of Vancouver island. The Cottage was exactly as described and had literally everything we could ever need for a 2 week camping roadtrip. Plenty of sleeping, food prep, and hanging out space. Thank you Sharon and Randy for being absolutely amazing hosts!!

5We absolutely loved our time in The Cottage! We had 10 days and covered about 2400kms. It never missed a beat and was extremely comfortable. It was also surprisingly fuel efficient, as long as you took your time up any long hills. It has all the creature comforts (and more!) Randy and Sharon were perfect hosts. Randy's communication was very prompt, extremely helpful and went above and beyond in terms of suggestions re sites/campgrounds etc. If we ever come back to BC we'd love to spend some more time in The Cottage!

5We spent a wonderful three weeks in the cottage. It was a truly magnificent trip and we felt like new people by the end. The cottage is a good size and felt very spacious for our family of 3. It’s filled with thoughtful touches and details that make a huge difference and ensure the van feels both homely and incredibly practical at the same time. A stand out is the the bed, we’ve never slept so well. It’s also equipped with everything you could possibly need for life on the road. Randy and Sharon were wonderful hosts, helping us plan our trip in advance and answering all of our many questions before and during our trip. Randy also provided us with a helpful tutorial at pick up and was on hand if we needed anything which was reassuring. We’re total converts and have even looked into buying our own van. Needless to say, nothing we have seen comes close to the cottage! We couldn’t recommend highly enough!
