From here, Shenandoah is 90 minutes, the Blue Ridge is two hours, and the Red Wing Roots music festival at Natural Chimneys is only 2.5-hour drive down I-81.No hookups needed. Roof-mounted solar, house battery, and a 5-gallon fresh water tank keep you fully self-sufficient at tent sites, RV sites, or a friend's driveway. The bench folds flat into a cozy bed, the portable cooktop handles real meals, and the 12V cooler/freezer keeps your provisions cold all weekend.Perfect for: festival camping, brewery and winery tours, hiking basecamp, weekend escapes, and anyone who wants the van life experience without the learning curve. Justin was great to work with. He's very friendly and very responsive. His van was perfect for our 4-day trip. We rented the van at the last minute to attend a musical festival where every day was forecasted to rain...much better than being in a tent! It was smaller than we have rented in the past but perfect for this short trip. It is a basic, well thought out van. It had everything we needed. We cooked most of our meals. I would definitely rent from Justin again. His small business, Vander Outdoors, has three different models of vans so he has some variety!
