Meet Charley, our 2021 Winnebago Travato GL with the limited edition National Park Foundation feature package. Charley is named after John Steinbeck's dog and travel companion in "Travels With Charley." The G refers to the layout, with a fold-down full-size bed, a dining area that converts to another bed, and the bathroom at the rear. The L refers to the powerful Lithium battery (no loud generator here).The NPF edition gives Charley a head-turning profile, with upgraded tires, wheels & suspension; a sharp paint job; and bug screens for both side slider and rear doors, along with an upgraded Lithium battery.The galley offers a propane stove and microwave oven for cooking, plus a large sink and refrigerator. The restroom has a conventional toilet, sink and shower, and there's an additional exterior shower port in the back for rinsing off outside. Servicing those utilities are an 18-gallon water tank and an onboard propane tank. After a long day of hiking, put your feet up and relax in the two bench seats with a pivoting table or invite the whole crew inside with seating for five.The furnace and water heater operate on both propane and electricity, giving you options when you're off-grid, and the roof-mounted A/C unit keeps things cool. At night, the insulated blackout window covers provide privacy while conserving energy.For entertainment, Charley offers a TV with DVD player, AM/FM radio, and CD player with speakers inside the coach, or sit outside under the lighted awning and listen on the patio speakers.Charley has full park hookups: 30A power, fresh water and black & gray waste tanks.
